Guys ^ up there were getting good news so i figured I would get it a whirl.

Oct 22nd xlt hybrid, small Wi dealer dropped cp360
when it started getting constrained.

called 800-334-4375 got in touch with a representative, all you need is to confirm your address/info and they can pull up your order.

order confirmed but no good news. Oh well.

fyi my dads 12/31 xl eco 4k is produced estimated arrival end of April :/

During weekday times, you can also use the Ford Chat app on their support page. It's geared more for SYNC issues and other things like that, but I was able to hop on without a VIN and talk to a rep and find out more info.

Speaking of which, my July 14th XLT Hybrid order finally got scheduled this week as well! I put my VIN in the ford tracker and while it didn't have the production date on the site, it recognized the VIN and worked out ok. Scheduled for the week of 5/16 now!

I have a FE RR order placed on 07.17.2021. I used the chat room yesterday, as you suggested.
Worked great !!
I got a VIN number and production date for 05.23 !!!!
The wait is almost over.

If one receives sub-standard service from a provider that did not supply even jelly and finds that acceptable, then have at it often! Some who allow that behavior to flourish and continue unabated, just didn't pass Business Ethics 101 and often need a bankruptcy attorney after allowing that systemic abuse to damage their operation. Enjoy helping suppliers who perform haphazardly remain in business! It's not like any poorly run American car manufacturers have ceased operation in the last 40 years by ignoring customer feedback. I guess I'll go to the next auto show and look for a new Mercury or a Pontiac!
I guess I should fire my HVAC contractor, who hasn't been able to get the AC system in because of supply constraints for someone who can. Oh, wait. Every single HVAC contractor is in the same position.

While I'm at it, maybe I should fire my architect, because he's been unable to get permits as quickly as he thought he could. But then, I'd have to start the whole process over again and guess what? I'll have an even LONGER wait to get the necessary permits.

And maybe I should never shop at Costco for supplies again, because they often don't have them in stock. Yup, I should go to Restaurant Depot instead. Or Amazon. One problem. They don't have them either.

There is a difference between unethical business behavior and simply not having the supplies needed to fulfill the order. If you can't tell the difference, I can't help you.

But go ahead and rant if it makes you feel better.

One thing it won't do?

Get you your truck any sooner. You'll probably end up throwing a fit, cancelling your order and then your dealer will gladly turn around and sell it with a big markup. Yeah, you really showed them. They made more money.

My dealer just called me that my First Edition hybrid should be delivered in May. I didn't get an email from Ford but I see why now. I guess I should get one closer to production date since that's when they send the emails now.

I checked last Friday. My order could be scheduled now, but I think it's a bit unhealthy for both myself and customer service to have weekly calls to update. It might be tempting now that scheduling feels especially close, but it's felt close (almost) all along.

Looking at the whole process, the only meaningful updates would have been independent confirmation that the order validated, that the dealership didn't mess up, and perhaps a list of constrained options to drop.

The real point is that it seems like low-hanging fruit to provide even minimal info through the site rather than trying to balance support calls vs spam filters.
It's like watching water boil...

I got an update from my dealership saying I have a VIN and a build date.

Order date: 7-28-21
Scheduled build week: 5-16-22
Build Info:
  • Carbonized Gray XLT Hybrid Lux
  • Copilot 360
  • Rear sliding window

Many find waiting more than 8 months after your #1 item, for a #2, just a little constipating! But you doo you!
Sounds like a really great concept!! I guess you can always control your thoughts so you do not worry about things you can't control. Hope that does not cause stress :).
No stresses here. I don't even think about the maverick unless I'm really slow at work or when I get home and want to catch up on MTC forum stuff. Now that I don't have to worry about extending my leased vehicle, most all truck stress is gone. Now I'm happily buying things for my new Maverick, when it arrives.

I have the exact same build, ordered 7/26 with a build date of week of 5/9/22. Glad you finally got your vin & build date. You should have received before me with an earlier order date.

Congrats man! Now comes the hard part...the short timer waiting. I should probably try to forget about it till May, because it seems like it's taken a month to get from last Thursday (when I got my VIN) to today. :)

This all reminds me of Microsoft and the term they created a few decades ago:
Vaporware...for non-existent items they gleefully took orders for.

Was scheduled for 4/4 build, then moved to 4/11, now just received email @ 5:04 PM moved to 4/18. So no production date but moved. Did Ford change their email policy again? In one way glad I know, in another...

Until I get a VIN or hear any updates, I am incorporating a call to Ford into my daily routine. I am a January order and I can’t imagine how all these June and July orders haven’t taken a leap of faith yet with no communication. I am in no rush, and I certainlu do not want my build done before anyone that ordered before me, but I do want to be updated monthly about what is going on, what the constraints are, and if there is no chance of it being built at all until MY 23. The lack of communication is what is driving customers crazy and Ford hasn’t seen that yet. I hope I love my Mav, but it will most likely be my first and last Ford because of it.

Not sure when new system is to be implemented. However, I did received a text from my dealer yesterday with a build date and VIN#. I've not gotten an email from Ford with this information.

I placed my order and received a confirmation on June 23rd. Build was a Lariat, Hybrid, Rapid Red, First Edition, Luxury & CoPilot 360 with a trailer hitch. Text said it was scheduled to be built the week of May 9th.

So I'm guessing its like "Meet the new System. Same as the System" .
