I traded my '22 Cyber Orange, XLT, Hybrid with 44k miles for a '25 Oxford White, XLT, Hybrid in January 2025 (currently has 23k miles). I've been driving essentially the same truck for 4 years and 67k miles and still love it! No issues with either of them.
I'm with ya. No sense dying with a million in the bank and using stupid styrofoam and ice packs when you could have a one-time setup (both cost and effort) and have a refrigerator in your truck.
Did you consider a styrofoam cooler and a refreezable ice pack for $10? Or a Yeti and a refreezable ice pack for $100? :ROFLMAO: The cheapskate is strong in this one (pointing at myself).
But seriously, I like the idea of solar energy just in case you're in some kind of situation/emergency...
Another thing you can do that is "lasting" is to use one of Ford's predefined Views.
6) Click on the Menu Button (3 horizontal lines on the steering wheel).
10) Instead of clicking on MyView, scroll down with the "OK" toggle and select one of the predefined views (ie Trip Economy, Towing...
This is how you configure "MyView":
To add them to MyView, follow these steps:
1) Click the Menu Button (3 horizontal lines) on the right side of the steering wheel (wheel).
2) Click Ok when "MyView" is highlighted.
3) Click Ok when "Configure MyView" is highlighted.
4) Click Ok when you...
I have a hybrid, and I think my actual mpg is about 2 below what the dashboard calculates. I'll double check it the next time I fill up...in 2 weeks. :)
It sounds like there's 2 different options here: 1) Lane keeping assist (I don't know the actual terms) which just nudges you back to center when you veer a little, and 2) Lane keeping which allows you to drive hands free.
My Maverick won't allow me to drive hands free; it just nudges me back...
So it sounds like there's no loss in mpg for the lane assist to stay on. It's nice to have for the rare occasions when I drift a little, but most of the time I don't even know it's on.
Thanks for the input guys.
The reason I like them is for resale and oil filters. When I sold my old Rangers, I could never remember whether they were an XL, XLT, Lariat, V-1, R13, Zorg-5150, or whatever the options were. :ROFLMAO:
When I go to buy an oil filter for my son's Corolla, I can look at the trunk and see it's...
I agree with you. I like the '22-'24 headlights better.
Truthfully, if no one had ever pointed out the '25 headlights, I probably would have never noticed.
I remember reading that manual cars got better gas mileage, because it took a lot of energy for the car to shift the gears.
I searched for this topic and didn't find it (online or in the manual) and have wondered for a long time if lane assist affects mileage. Does the truck correcting your...
I've seen multiple posts where people ask if Sync4 recognizes any other commands besides "Change the Temperature to XX degrees" and "Change radio to FM". It does the temperature and radio station very well, but I can't get it to change the fan speed, the "Auto" setting (1, 2, or 3), or turn...
Posted this a while ago: Best Idea Ever. It actually suggested (among other things) what the OP did.
I'm fine with the new look, but I also like what the OP did. Both look good to me.
That's amazing! My '25 Hybrid XLT with the Luxury Package (and everything else about the exact same) was about $9k more than my '22. I think you got either a phenomenal deal on your 2025 or a really bad deal on your 2022. :ROFLMAO:
I had a '22 Cyber Orange XLT Hybrid, put 40k+ miles on it, and sold it for a '25 Oxford White XLT Hybrid with almost identical options; so mine is more of an apples to apples comparison.
The 2022 Pros
1) It had more immediate response to pressing the gas. Pressing the gas on the '22 got an...
My '25 is Oxford White (aka Brilliant White), and when it starts getting dirty, it resembles Space White (a little duller than OW); so it ALWAYS looks clean...just a different color! :) Contrary to what would seem intuitive, white doesn't show dirt as bad as dark colors do. My '22 Cyber Orange...
Can any widget take up the whole screen? I know iHeart Radio can. It would be nice if something like Microsoft Teams, Reminders, and Notes could occupy the whole screen.
I have to admit, as much as I wanted the larger screen, I haven't maximized it yet. I've enjoyed it, but I haven't...
That did it. Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure why I didn't think about it myself. Rebooting and deleting & reinstalling has been the "fix all" since the '80s. :)
