Will there be email updates sent out this week? It would be great to get some clarity on what the current communication plan is if it has changed. Thanks!

For those who haven't heard, @fordvideoguy posted yesterday that Ford has decided to change the email notification process. Rather than sending out an email for the week of scheduled production, they plan to only email order holders when the actual DAY of production is scheduled. There's a lengthy thread about it here.

I've created a poll so order holders can mark their preference, in hopes that it will convince @Ford Motor Company to go back to the old email system. Please vote in the poll here.

Would you mind creating a thread similar to the [Email not/now arriving] but with something like [Ford contact result] for each scheduling week? That way we could reply what our result of contacting Ford was. Either still in processing, or got a VIN.

You are totally exaggerating! NOBODY HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE JUNE JULY AUGUST! Reservations only started June 8 with the unveiling of the truck. Order banks opened a few weeks later- and it was advertised that "production and delivery were expected to start in the Fall of 2021". It wasn't a secret that nobody at Ford told us about. Production start is always limited and October was the 1st full month. Hybrid didn't even have their MPG numbers and OKTB until late November. Most accurate estimates anybody could get on delivery times after built was 4-8 weeks. Last 2 weeks of December factory was shutdown for Holidays and there were 2 other 1 week shutdowns along the way from lack of parts.

Lots of people got their Mavericks in the fall as advertised. If you are honest about this, only people that didn't get theirs by end of the year have had to wait a little longer- end of March is just the 3rd month past what was advertised. Administrators on this site provided updates as they got them and other sources like Tim have done a great job filling in the missing information as best they can.

Yeah, so me choosing not to order until mid-December is irrelevant and you don't see me complaining about the wait. My MTC join date is exactly 1 year ago (April 1st), but I was following the Maverick happenings for a good 6 months before that and I was lurking here months before I actually joined. It gets really old watching so many impatient people with the same unrealistic expectations post the same stuff again and again acting like they are victims of the evil big corporation abusing them. Time for a bunch of people to grow up and get real about even getting your orders in at all before cutoff. Your truck gets here when it gets here and no amount of soothing emails or complaints to Ford will change that reality.
I ordered July 21 and just received my VIN and build date last week. Numerous people on this forum placed their orders in June, July and August and have just recently got scheduled or are still waiting. You mentioned following Tim Bartz YouTube videos. Did you miss the video that he did just last month entitled "June and July orders not getting scheduled"? Maybe he was exaggerating too? June, July, August orders not getting scheduled is FACT, not exaggeration. You are entitled to how you feel, but so are the others here that are expressing their frustration and would like more transparency and communication from Ford. Here's the link for the video... .

This convo occured in another thread since I exaggerated about June, July, August orders not getting scheduled and we are all just a bunch of whiners who should just take whatever Ford gives us. Any June, July, August orders care to respond to Old Ranchero? Maybe I'm stirring the pot a bit, but it's all in good fun.

GOAL!!! Good news! My August order (XLT Hybrid, XLT, Lux, SB, 360, Velocity Blue) now has a VIN and scheduled production week (5/23). The first Maverick I might see here in Huntsville, AL could be my own.

I believe your dealer is misinformed. Contact Ford directly about this as you are an early August order and should be getting a VIN and build date soon.
