Commandorebob - Thanks for sharing your installation experience. I'm one of the other lucky winners from Wolfbox's giveaway. My SmartSlide Electric Retractable Bed Cover just arrived. Since we're now into a solid week of rain, that heavy oversized box you're familiar with sits in our home's...
  3. Hybrid Ditch Light Install Power?

It may be counterintuitive, but the black is where I draw 12V for all my external lighting. I run 12 V through a under the hood control box and then to a ceiling mounted interior switch panel.

Mine is a hybrid. Under the hood are two side-by-side terminal posts, each with a flip-back rubber cover (red and Black). I connected to the positive terminal under the black cover using a wing nut.

  9. 🚀 Giveaway Time: Wolfbox SmartSlide Electric Tonneau Cover! 🚀

As an emergency services first responder, my Maverick’s truck bed is frequently transporting the equipment and materials needed to establish my agency’s deployable incident command post. That is in addition to my personal flight gear. On a normal work day, I’m transporting much more valuable...

  11. Under Hood Light

An easy and inexpensive mod. AliExpress offers dozens of options. I ordered a double LED strip kit that included a plunger-type on/off switch. I choose not to use the included switch. Rather, I wired the strips to an overhead switch panel controlling all my added external lighting. Even...

  17. Realtruck Ionic 3" Black Nerf Bars

The hood protector is a Maxzina product sold through Amazon. I believe the cost is about $50, but Maxzina often offers discounts. Keep a watch on their FB site. It is made of rubber-like TPE installed with double-sided tapes. The hood guard is intended to assist in deflecting stones and...
  18. Realtruck Ionic 3" Black Nerf Bars

I was one of the early purchasers of RealTuck’s nerf bars attempting to mount them to a hybrid. My lack of success in mounting them contributed to identifying the problem with interference with the high voltage battery’s location. Just recently after talking with RealTruck’s rep, I decided to...
