I got an email from Ford this evening saying that my production date has been changed from 11 April 2022 to 28 March 2022.

Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Yeah I can almost see me driving my Maverick!

I finally got my production date scheduled! I placed my order on September 27, 2021. I live on the east coast in the Tri-State area. I got the Shadow Black Hybrid XLT with sunroof and Luxury Package.

I just got my e-mail for this week. I am also on the east coast, Hybrid XL.

Hi! Just found this Forum last night and thought I would share my rollercoaster ride from today. I learned a lot from you fine folks while reading the forums for about six hours straight. I have been really frustrated not hearing a single word from dealer since the day I ordered my truck. I didn't get an email conformation from Ford nor have I gotten any emails from Ford at all. Today I called the Ford Customer service line and talked to someone to find out what was going on and if I was even close to having a VIN and a build date. I found out that I have had a VIN for about 2 weeks now and that I was just given a build date yesterday.
So here is the rollercoaster that doesn't even have anything to do with waiting since August 8th when I ordered until now. I ordered an XL Hybrid with soft folding Tonneau cover, power moon roof, rear sliding window and CP360 in what my husband laughingly calls Velociraptor Blue.
What the ford tracking site says I ordered is an XLT Hybrid in Velocity Blue with console vault, power moon roof, CP360. Needless to say I called the dealer and really was NOT a happy camper. 4 phone calls later my choices were start from the very beginning and order an xl MY2023 or keep the xlt with the dealer taking a much bigger hit on the price than I thought they would offer.

So I guess I am getting an XLT Hybrid because I will be damned if I am going through all this again next year!

Welcome to the board - I am sorry if you don't get the truck you wanted --- but I think you will like the XLT over the XL, right? Or was it the interior colors you didn't like??
Anyway, what helped me, I think, was I physically sat at the desk with the dealer and ordered the truck, and we walked through it a couple of times, taking out the non-critical options that would slow it down... and then I walked out of there with a paper in my hand saying what I ordered. And then, the next day, I got the first email from Ford saying my "order was approved".
Now that I have my "scheduled for production email", I noticed that there were a couple of items on the truck that I thought I had REMOVED so as not to slow it down.... but what the heck, if it's an XLT hybrid and it's the right color, I will probably be happy with it. Those are the most important things to me.
I definitely don't want a gray Ecoboost. But that's just me!

Instead of scheduling more builds, why doesn't Ford complete orders that were promised in Jan, pused out to Feb, then pushed out to Mar., now promised in April?
