191 Days after I ordered my new Maverick it was delivered to my very rural dealer. Hill Country Ford in Goldthwaite Texas. Upon arriving I was ecstatic to see full set of Michelin tires on a sunny day shiny Velocity Blue Lariat.
I did the entire buy over the phone on Oct 27th and got Ford...

I have read and re-read my owners manual at least twice since Oct 27th order date. and clicked on all the odd questions here on MTC forums

Ordered a full boat Lariat in October, took delivery may 7th
Rural dealer, Texas is Military friendly state. Most adults have served or have a friend/family member who served.
My order was 100% over the phone with a man who did not know me. Yet
I wanted a build to order truck and was not...
Took delivery May 6 2022. Of ALL the new things to get used to. The rotary shifter seemed natural to this old skoll stick shift guy. Of course I have been driving Jeep Cherokees the last 5 years .

I gave it a thumbs up...but it really was a waste of my time. I learned more on this site and google searches. FoMoCo need a serious customer relations department that actively has nerds searching for and FOLLOWING all media including there type web sites. The One Ford Guy on THIS site must be...
1955 birth so grew up with old skool rockabilly and the R&R masters of the time. Truck will be 54 minuets away drive home so I am putting my old favs mix on a USB.
The lead song to test the B&0 is Berlin's "Take My Breath Away"

My argument for always wanting a matching rim and same exact tire is I prefer to do a 5 tire rotation every 6 months. Fortunately in my area, a LOT of truck owners don't like the factory rims and put after market on leaving a garage full of original low mileage take offs. Eventually end up on...
No more dog in the hunt. But I too prefer the Email process I had:
In my case I did not need to pester the dealer. Supply issues are well discussed on EVERY car and truck forum

You are painting a good picture with you words...
I had several Z cars through 300ZX and really liked the tech at the time
30 years later CANBUSS and adaptive AI, with redundant backup paths on critical electronic sub systems such as steering, throttle, brakes. These things actually learn and store information in non volatile memory.
On all...
Following this story intently.
Hoping for nightly "trip reports"
How is cell coverage along the route? Using two way radios between trucks?
I spent some quality Army Artillery time testing new Tubes in extreme cold Near Tok and Fort Greely early 70s. Flew into Eielson if I recall despite...
Not necessarily a scam but for low pressure car/truck tires only reason to do so would be if free
Most aviation tires are filled with 99.9 DRY Nitrogen to 300~5000 PSI
Mostly low volume and very high pressure. Two reasons: Lower expansion contraction coefficient ratio vs "air" and, less loss...
Probably a wise choice. Best of luck to you.
I have fond memories of CC in the 80s when Temp duty to the Army Depot there from my station here at Fort Hood.
I found the 2022 Maverick pdf manual just before finding MTC.
Dad got me reading manuals way back 1967 Chiltons ( I know, not THE manual) When ever I worked on the lawn mower and got stuck, his always answer was RTFM! Then ask me your questions.
24 years Army maintenance life was all about...
My decision would be only hard if buying the CRV needed a mortgage with interest because did not buy it for cash. Then the drill would be: Can I sell it or trade it without being upside down (raising the loan needs on the new Mav)
I ordered the Maverick as a Custom New vehicle that fills Many...
