Talked to a guy today here in pa that had a Maverick XLT with Fx4. I ask him how long did he wait for his. He told me he called around found one at a dealership that someone back out of. And got it right off the lot. Any one else get lucky like this?

Luck is relative. How much over MSRP did this individual pay? Around here, you're not getting an off-the-lot Mav for less than 5-10k over. That ain't luck...unless you're the dealer.

There is a Red First Edition 2.0 AWD Lariat in Windsor CT for $2k over MSRP.

Yes i did the same thing and got employee discount no markup in october, since dealerships were not able to get "stock" vehicles only ones that were customer ordered and then not picked for some reason. Yes there are many dealerships currently charging extra/ADM prices, but not all are at this point you see people listing them on this site all the time.

I don't ask him what he payed but if he did get a make up price that sucks. But at least he got his. But I'll wait I don't feel like paying more then I have to

I found mine by expanding the search mileage on the Ford site and there it was at a small town dealer that had just gotten it in.

I bought mine msrp by finding a stock unit that was on the way to the dealer.

I found mine back in October listed for MSRP on auto trader in transit to the dealer. Was told it was a few weeks out. Exact build I wanted. Drove over the next day to put a deposit on it. Just so happened to be delivered earlier than expected and was there when I got there.

Got mine at MSRP off the lot when it was turned down by the guy who ordered. Same trim as the CO Lariat Lux, FX4 4K Tow and 360 I ordered. It was Velocity Blue and had moonroof and bed lighting. Sometime in May or June it will show up at Gullo Ford in Conroe Texas.

Got tired of the B.S. I was getting from the local dealership since reserving one in September 2021. So jumped on the interweb and just happen to come across a Ford dealer 35 miles away getting THREE Mavericks for their inventory. It has a bit more than what we wanted but not the hard tonneau. Called them up right as they opened, made an appointment, drove there, put a refundable deposit on it, and delivery date of 18 Feb 22. No additional markup. From what I understand, all three were spoken for by the days end. People are going crazy over the Maverick. First due to price and second being a mid size pickup.

Got my Ecoboost XLT FX-4 with virtually all options I wanted on the lot at a small rural dealership. Got it for MSRP as well. But this was up in NB Canada.

I must not be a fancy type person, but I dont get the whole hype about the whole "first edition" thing. I mean it's supposed to be an inexpensive compact pickup right? I just cant see spending 36k or more on a compact pickup with a 1 year only paint job.
