There web site lists the MSRP @ 46K with a 8K discount to 38K (-BS-) and they will not show sticker. I wouldn’t trust them. No way to configure a 48K FE.
i would not trust that either

XLT AWD with Lux package. I could have done without the AWD but it was worth not waiting or playing ADM/Add-On games at a dealer.
happy for you cant wait to get mine. hopefully good thing happen to those who wait.

I was building one on the site and contacted my local dealer to start the process. then just for fun randomly searched other dealer websites in my greater area and saw one in stock with every single option i wanted, and same color. called them up and bought it right then on phone. picked it up a week later. it wasn't actually in stock but in transit on the train from mexico. and there was $0 markup.

Talked to a guy today here in pa that had a Maverick XLT with Fx4. I ask him how long did he wait for his. He told me he called around found one at a dealership that someone back out of. And got it right off the lot. Any one else get lucky like this?
I had to wait 1.5 months but made friends with a salesperson and when someone backed out of their order he called and I swooped in. They wanted 2k over but lowered it to 500. I think it's a high volume dealership where they aren't as desperate for money.

I bought a Maverick yesterday that I found searching the Ford.com inventory about a month ago. It was an ordered vehicle that was declined, and enroute, so I just had to wait for it to arrive. The dealership honored MSRP/X-plan pricing. It's an upgrade from what I ordered [XLT-4k tow-FX4] vs [XL-4k tow]. I'm actually happy I ended up with the XLT, I'm very pleased with the extras and the black rims, which look awesome with the Iconic Silver.

The dealership I originally ordered from would not sign a purchase agreement for MSRP/X-plan with me. I was getting bad vibes off them, and it was making me anxious. They said they'd honor MSRP/X-Plan, but I was very concerned that my order would end up with a markup on it.

My ordered XL-4k tow has a 2/14 build date, but I've told that dealership I don't want it.
They can sell it to someone willing to pay a markup, if they add one. It's not my problem anymore (and I told the sales manager that's why I went looking elsewhere).
Their sales manager gave me some line about how Ford penalizes a dealer (with allocations??) when a customer places an order but doesn't take delivery on a vehicle. No idea if that's true, I'd reached the point I didn't trust them at all. I doubt they'll have trouble selling it, so I don't feel bad in the least. They were being really weird during the whole process.

I can highly recommend North Brothers Ford in Westland MI. Dalton Cejmer was my sales person. Overall a very good experience with them.

That’s how I bought my xlt fx4 with 4k tow package, no markup, and I got a really good deal on my trade in.

I must not be a fancy type person, but I dont get the whole hype about the whole "first edition" thing. I mean it's supposed to be an inexpensive compact pickup right? I just cant see spending 36k or more on a compact pickup with a 1 year only paint job.
People spend money on all sorts of things. A lot of the decision making is emotional.

Exactly !!! A new pickup truck should not cost you $40K-$70k
your right the price there asking for a new truck is crazy. it should not cost that much.
