Aaarrrggghhh!!! The square point sets have 90° corners that fit all the way to the points for better torque, etc (single square = 4 corner, double square = 8 corner, triple square = 12 corner, quadruple square = 16 corner). That's why a 12 point socket rolls the corners off a hex head bolt and a triple square socket will not!
There is also a Phillips posi driver head which is similar to the JIS except it is a bit more flared where the slope to the end starts. It keeps the head of the screwdriver better seated. I have some but I don't have access to them today.I forgot about those JIS Screwdrivers.

All the exterior bolts except the one that I'm pointing to in the engine compartment, are Torx Plus. The one in the engine compartment is a Torx security bolt.
I've heard that some mfrs are doing away with the dipstick and relying solely on an oil level monitor (OLM).

Guilty secret, when torx were uncommon 30+ yrs back and it was most just the T10 or T15 you found in electronics, and not realllll tight, I used to jam the end of a triangular file into them.
Not necessarily. I have a Ryobi BT3000 table saw that is 25 years old. I needed to replace the blade. It came with special made wrenches for the task because you can't get a standard open end wrench in to hold the shaft of the motor or to loosen the nut with out major disassembly. I moved 2 years ago and have a new workshop. I looked in every cabinet, drawer, toolbox, checked every pegboard hook in the workshop and the garage. Could not find those wrenches. So I gave up and decided to check Ebay for a set. As I was turning out the lights on my way out I dropped my bottle of water. I bent down to pick it up and saw the wrenches taped to the side of the saw housing, under the table, with packing tape. I apparently taped them there so they would not get lost in the move,
.They have. It's called Torx Plus Tamper Resistant. Five lobes with a pin in the middle.
