Where's the 12 volt battery located on the Maverick's hybrid 2.5L engine?

Normally hybrid engines have 2 batteries. I think the one on the rear passenger seat is the electric battery unless both of them are in the same location. That will be nice, so it is easy to maintain and change later on.

12V battery on Hybrid, as noted above, is under rear seat, passenger side. With the 2.0L EB, it is under hood in engine bay as done traditionally.

In the OP's photo, up by the air box, is that red terminal cap and other black box situation where we would use for jumper cable hook ups (and other power stuff)?

I would want to run power wire for a small aftermarket amplifier and I'm not too keen on having the power connections under my child's car seat.

Red cap is positive, ground is the post in the upper right corner, same as Escape hybrid.

HV traction battery in under rear seat floor. There is a picture of the entire hybrid drive powertrain on the forum earlier thread.

You are correct, because that’s not the Hybrid battery. That one is under the rear seat floor, as stated above.

Thanks, that cleared up a grey area for me. I thought both batteries would be accessible from under the seat. Are other Hybrids like that?

I had a 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid and the car battery is in the trunk on the passenger side. The Hybrid battery is under the back seat.
I now have a 2021 Lexus ES300h (Hybrid) and it is the same configuration as the Toyota Avalon above.

The 12-Volt battery is the only one under the seat inside the passenger compartment. The Lithium-Ion Hybrid Battery is under the floor outside the passenger compartment, accessible only from below.
