  1. My 93 Octane Experiment! 2.0L EcoBoost Maverick

    I quit reading at "prolly."
  2. Why Mavericks are Hot (The Affordability Crisis) [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

You don't, but if you use them smartly, like I do by paying the full balance monthly, you can earn hundreds of dollars in cash back annually, I average $500-600 that goes right in my pocket. Plus, it's good for your credit score as it shows your responsible and can maintain a credit, my CCs...
  3. Sad Maverick Owner. So mad at Ford...

Where is the OP? Tells this tale of how mad he is of Ford and them you never hear from him again. the actual fault of this whole thing rests with the person that rear ended the truck in the first place. The servicing dealer, since they had control of the vehicle when it was hit should take...
  4. Market changing

I thought the same thing when I saw this, people don't go, "oh no gas went up a dime this week, better be looking for rice burner."
  5. Sad Maverick Owner. So mad at Ford...

It's not Ford's problem, it's the DEALER. Quit blaming Ford.
  6. Market changing

I just checked my '22 Hybrid Lariat Lux (22,000 miles) on Carvana and the offer in Central MO was $26,200. I don't get this "reputation" BS, because I really like my truck and have had no issues other than the couple recalls. People that aren't happy complain way, way, way more than those that...
  7. Fourteen Below Zero Fahrenheit No Go Maverick Hybrid this Morning

My a$$ would disagree1 Its been below zero every morning for the last few where I live. Remote starting the Mav turns on the heated seat and steering wheel. Much more welcoming when you get in to head out at those temps.
  8. Maverick Improvements

Yeah, because prices never increase on anything.
  9. Second Thoughts

You shouldn't have to do that with a new vehicle, or have to carry around a quick start battery for fear of it leaving you stranded somewhere. Ford needs to fix this issue because as I've stated in the past, the first time mine leaves me stranded, I'm done with Ford.
  10. Low MPG displayed on short trips in Hybrid

If I lived that close to work, I'd be walking.
  11. Would you buy hybrid again yes or no

Move to Japan, you'll get one sooner.
  12. Price hike on 2024 Maverick XL - $415

It's called inflation. I get a kick out of everyone oohing and.ahhing when it's normal. I guess I could say that I'm glad I bought my '74 bronco for just under 4k because know it would be 60k.
  13. My Maverick is a BRICK (major problem)

There's nice homes in Japan as well, time for a move?
  14. Turn signal recall - truck is still on the train.

Well considering that most moron drivers rarely use their turn signals, I don't see this as an issue at all. The seem to find fog lights much more important than turn signals.
  15. Mounting winch bumper on a Maverick

In no way would I put a winch on a unibody vehicle, you are just asking for trouble.
  16. Maverick November 2023 Sales & Production: Sold 10,379 / 13,826 Produced, Wow!

The strike halted the Ranger and Bronco sales for 6 weeks with a slow start up in November November. Plus the Ranger is going through a changeover to a totally new model.
  17. The "You get what you pay for" arguments are ridiculous. I owned 3 Honda in 10 years cars that cost 24k or less and never had "1" problem.

I've owned Fords exclusively my entire life (I'm 60). I have never had any major issues with any of them. Sure, there have been a recall here and there and a bad fuel pump, but other than that just fine. PLUS, I'm buying from an AMERICAN COMPANY. I will never own a vehicle from a foreign...
  18. IMHO most Mavericks will rot out at the left rear quarter, will yours?

Two years in with mine and no issues through midwest winters.
  19. Maverick bubble over ?

You're comparing what you paid to MSRP, not the same. The MSRP for the '23 was more than $31,300.
