This trim seal strip seems to have fixed my dash rattle.

I reported earlier got the molding, installed it. Then drive truck short distance over the road that makes rattling sound. No rattle noted. Tidsy, drove truck over same road and further on another, main road, and into a parking lot with bumps, holes, speed bumps. No rattles heard. However in parking lot did hit a small pot hole, and heard that Knick sound. Otherwise the drive was with no cabin noise.

Some saying of UV attack of the rubber molding. Maybe, only time will tell. My truck parks in garage, out of elements, and the sun. Meanwhile the cabin is quieter.

Well you're going to have to wait a while for my report. I ordered the rubber strip today along with some other stuff looks like it's going to be a September 12th delivery. I'm too cheap to be a subscriber to Amazon Prime. I bundle my orders and go with the over $35 free delivery. Overnight delivery is really no benefit when I'm in Utah. Amazon doesn't deliver to my property. I have to drive into Cedar City to pick it up.
To protect myself against credit card fraud.
I buy Amazon gift cards in $200 increments in cash. That I have no credit card on file with anyone.
I do the same with eBay only in $100 increments.
I was going to say you could always get Omniteq to ‘drone drop’ it, but I see you’ve already received it. 😉

Amazon (The delivery, ad, ordering platform for small businesses) delivered today, couple days early. Here are the results. I got the door weather strip. It installs on the front edge of the rear doors. I hope it keeps out the dust.
I installed the dash strip. You can not see it very well. It may keep stuff from sliding into that area.
A member talked about "backer rod". I looked it up evidently it is some type of air conditioning installation. I had no idea what size to use.

The dashboard sealer came with these mini tools👇👇

What brand name is this door weather stripping? Not sure, so many on Amazon.

Without being negative. This really is a sad state when there is a discussion to create a BANDAID to fix another quality issue.
I remember all too well the issues with peeling (read: disintegrating) full vinyl and - wait for it - Landau roofs. And manufacturers took forever to discontinue them!

Just added one of my cart and 👍
Just put the seal strip in the other day - no rattles but, I notice my Mav rattling a lot more on rough roads and I have not been on any last couple of days. The seal is easy to put in I just used a finger to push the seal in place. Cut with a scissors and done...

I decided I didn't want to take my maverick to the dealership over the rattle, too many horror stories from people. I saw someone else saying this worked on their maverick, tucking this into the gap between their windshield and dash as much as possible.

Tried to today, so far so good. I used to get really noticably thunking noises from the dashboard when driving over road imperfections. Took it for a short test drive of a few miles, dead silent.

You'll need to cut a small piece off the end but this seems to have done the trick. If you have rattles but are worried about your dealer making it worse, try this first.

I bought this seal and it installed very easily The gap is pretty wide so it went in with little effort. At the same time I squeezed some window screen spline under the dash tray and around the instrument cluster where it meets the dash as well as under the clear plastic and the hood of the cluster. That took a little more work using a plastic panel tool. There are still some noises being produced that are more vibration than rattles, and they only occur on some pretty rough pavement, but I have to say, doing these things have really cut down on the annoyances. Just took a 500 mile trip this week and I could not have been more happier with the results. Let's see how long it lasts.

This just occurred to me: instead of backer rod (the whole "disintegration" thing), what about a piece of silicone mat. Incredibly heat resistant (think silicone baking mats, most famous brand Silpat) and easily flexible to be pushed into the gap under the rubber seal.

What about butyl acrylic or bitumen window flashing, or Sykaflex chaulk. You'll never have to worry about any of it ever coming off! LMAO

Well that's true! Certainly the PERMANENT solution! Yikes!
I've always liked Sikaflex for temp-sensitive applications, although my wallet hasn't always been crazy about it.

I gotta tell ya...I do NOT have a dash rattle but I bought/installed this filler and put 2 pieces of fabric coated elastic between dash and instrument cluster hood(4" piece on each curve).I can't believe how much more quiet it is-AMAZING!

Ditto here, on the dash rubber trim installation. Not hearing rattle, but do occasionally get a Knock sound when over rougher surfaces. Wife rode in truck, and I asked if she hearing any rattles. None. But hey, she says all vehicles rattle, and I’m rattling too much over nothing biggie.

I ordered it after reading the first page or 2 of responses. It was easy to install, doesn’t show or stick up at all. Looks like it came with the truck. I was proactively installing, as I did not have a rattle. If nothing else it keeps something from falling down there. And got a nice little razor blade cutter & a plastic tool to use in other areas when messing with the vehicles. For the price, a definite win.
