Same here!

Plus I don't want a push button ignition. I leave the keys in my truck, and the key fob battery only lasts a few months if you do that. Love that entry pad.
this is honestly the feature I’m looking most forward to. Had it on my moms 02 Crown Vic more than a decade ago when it got handed down to me and the key pad is the bees knees.

I believe all Mavericks have LED headlights. Unless you mean the DRL "signature lights" on Lariat? I gotta say I'm not really a fan of the thick Lariat DRLs - compared to the thinner version on the Escape or F150s. And don't get me started on the lack of LEDs in the rest of the exterior lighting... For a "Lariat Luxury" they should have made every light possible an LED. Plus turn indicators on the mirrors.

I just got the Lasfit LED replacement package - didn't want to the spend the extra but I definitely wanted brighter reverse lights and turn signals, then brake lights... and at that point might as well do everything.

While I'm complaining, I feel the backup camera could have been higher quality.
Yeah looking at the 2023 'packing guide' some nice person posted here, I see "LED boxlighting" listed to Lariat & XLT and "Headlamps-Auto on/off" to the XL. @fordvideoguy Tim aren't he rear lights LED on Lariat? Foglights option would have been nice bought some AuxBeams to be installed IF I get a truck ....

If you lock the keys in with the keypad, it won't start unless you unlock with the keypad. It overrides intelligent access.

Won't ever buy another vehicle without ACC and they trap us into Lariat to get it.

No, only the DRL outline and a small led light on the side of the tail lights. They are other wise halogen.

That DRL Outline looks pretty wicked and hopefully with BAP blackened bezels more cool accents-

Incorrect. The system automatically deactivates intelligent access keys left inside when the doors are locked until the unlock button is pressed on the key. So it no less secure than a physical key if it is not found.
If you lock the keys in with the keypad, it won't start unless you unlock with the keypad. It overrides intelligent access.
Are you sure? I just tested it again because I remember trying this months ago when I was thinking about leaving the key in the car.
On my Lariat lux hybrid. If you leave the key in the truck and get out with the window down and lock the door with the keypad.

Even after waiting a bit of time, you can climb through the window and start it with the button and drive off without ever touching the key. So leaving the key in was out for me.

Apparently they forgot to enable that function on the Maverick because you can do it on my truck.
Of course the manual also says that there are interior motion sensors and those don't exist either.

Edit: Wait, what does a Passive key mean?
That doesn't sound like a key that you're actually using to operate the vehicle.

No taillights are not LED and Headlights are auto LED on all trims including the XL.

Our XLT— I love the navy pier cloth seats. I love the “old” turn-key ignition. I love I could add the sunroof, heated seats/wheel/mirror/wiper option. What I miss from Lariat would be the SiriusXM, the adaptive cruise and otherwise upgraded CP360, the DRL and LED taillights, and lastly the much nicer instrument cluster (which we had on our FX4 trim maverick. I’m subjectively not too fond of the brownish leather.

so having both said FX4 and now a hybrid both in XLT Lux. Packages if I had to do it all over again, I’d order the hybrid lariat- loaded with all options available no question about it.

The Lariat does have LED strips in the tail lights that the other trims do not have. But the brake/signal lamps are incandescent.

Does it still work if you lock via the handle touch sensor rather than using the keypad?
I just tried. It actually won't even lock via the door handle if the key fob is inside.

The Owner's Manual refers to the Intelligent Access keyset as a passive key.
