I got my XLT fully loaded for a little over 32 the same futures in a Lariat would have been about 37 was not worth the extra money to me for the little upgrades
I was in the neighborhood of $27.5k. Lots of utility there at that price.

Whatever floats your boat. I just went back and reviewed the features and came to the same conclusion I did back in october - that the XLT was the right choice and the Lariat had a bunch of stuff I would never use or didn't need.
I ordered my XLT for $28,510 and it has everything I wanted and will use regularly. I couldn‘t see paying more just to say I have it.

Plenty of cheap cloth seat covers out there, not a very good excuse, XLT is not better in any way.
It's a lot better in many ways if you don't want to spend the extra money on something you don't want. As far as that goes, an XL is better in many ways if it fits your needs for thousands less.

Yes, it is. Everything is a compromise. Lariat is a compromise over XLT as those extra features cost more money.

It’s a balance everyone must find on their own.

Good for you! The extra upgrades were totally worth it for the rest of us Lariat owners, didnt mind the extra 5k, money well spent.
Thanks. It is a matter of preference for everyone and what they want to spend. I am sure those of us feel the same way about the Latiat that have XLT

I just went back again to look at some other stuff and ended up going through the entire list of xl vs xlt vs lariat. Yep, XLT is where it's at for me. More power to the people getting XL's or Lariats and loving them.

Isn't it great to have choices? Of course, you should feel bad if yours isn't specc'ed exactly like mine. :D

As I'm endlessly waiting for my maverick to come in. I'm debating on upgrading from the XLT to the Lariat. I keep going back and forth on it. I'm curious to what everyone's reason were for choosing their trim level. Also has anyone gotten the XLT or Lariat and wish they didn't.
There's no lane centering in the XLT or XL just lane keeping. I love the lane centering. The upgraded sound system is a joke, but I don't know what the cheaper option sounds like.

🤣 Quite the statement to suggest that those who decided on XLTs are just poor. We can afford to drive whatever we want, but we did not get in this position by spending on things we don't value. We did not get a lariat because we did not value the options package, regardless of the fact that the difference in cost is about one week of contributions to our brokerage account.

If more people "cheaped out" on cars we'd have a much smaller personal debt problem in this country.
I agree with you 💯 percent. I could have afford the extra money for the Lariat but got XLT. I couldn't see paying thousands more for a few upgrades. I love my XLT that is fully loaded and fits my needs

A little more of a joke, but it is fine for us. Having heard the B&O system, there is zero chance I'm paying any sort of premium for that.

Just wish there was more of an options menu as opposed to “packages.” I’ve ordered an XLT Lux mostly for the heated seats, steering wheel, etc. Really wish adaptive cruise was available on the XLT.

I don't regret getting the XLT at all but I agree that Ford should have given more options

I chose the XLT because I like the Standard Wheels & interior seating materials. Didn't really like the brown vinyl or wheels on Lariet.

Lariat seats are great. I love the padding and soft cushion armrests too. I got the Lariat luxury package too. I fell in love with the Maverick Lariat because of the interior. Comfort and tech features Lariat all the way!!
