I loved the Fender audio in my old Volkswagen. I was expecting similar sound in the Lariat. Not so. I think part of the problem is the cabin itself needs more sound deadening. The tune though is just way off too. I wonder if they could fix that with an update. Not that they'd bother.

There's no lane centering in the XLT or XL just lane keeping. I love the lane centering. The upgraded sound system is a joke, but I don't know what the cheaper option sounds like.

This sounds like the insurance company is trying to get you to do their job for them. All I did is add the truck to my insurance and moved on. They need to contact Ford and find out what the stock configuration is for the alarm and stop bugging you.

When I go to the Wi-Fi settings in my lariat Maverick I don't see an option for turning the hotspot on. When the car is running though I see a Wi-Fi connection called MavSpot. Does anyone know how to find the password to connect that?

I got the Vantech rack and Elevate rails and X4 cover (package deal $1900). It all went on easily. I had to bang on the X4 brackets a little to let the cover roll down nicely without catching the little hooks on the lip. I still need to add some foam and push the whole thing around a little, but...

Tell me more about these Billiebars. I'm assuming if you want to fold / roll up your tonneau you have to remove at least the back bar? I feel like if it was maybe 6in higher you could probably roll it up while keeping everything installed. I was imagining a short roof box on something similar...
