I have a 22 Lariat with 35,800mi. So close to the B to B warranty being out. I had it at the dealer for the shaking issue as well. It was really bad. They replaced one axle and it's better now, but it's not completely gone either. I'm waiting for a response. I have to take it back in for a...
Ack. I wish I had thought of / seen this. My 2022 is too long and the tailgate just barely touches the top of my trailer hitch. I forgot to move the gate to the higher position and now I have a scratch. My friend has a 2023 and his is for sure level not dropped. He won't trade cables with me for...
My main problem with the assist is that it's so good that I have to actually steer against the wheel and try to bring the truck out of the lane just so that the computer knows I'm there. If I just steer along with it then it thinks I took my hands off the wheel. I wish it was like the Tesla...
I loved the Fender audio in my old Volkswagen. I was expecting similar sound in the Lariat. Not so. I think part of the problem is the cabin itself needs more sound deadening. The tune though is just way off too. I wonder if they could fix that with an update. Not that they'd bother.
There's no lane centering in the XLT or XL just lane keeping. I love the lane centering. The upgraded sound system is a joke, but I don't know what the cheaper option sounds like.
This sounds like the insurance company is trying to get you to do their job for them. All I did is add the truck to my insurance and moved on. They need to contact Ford and find out what the stock configuration is for the alarm and stop bugging you.
When I go to the Wi-Fi settings in my lariat Maverick I don't see an option for turning the hotspot on. When the car is running though I see a Wi-Fi connection called MavSpot. Does anyone know how to find the password to connect that?
I got the Vantech rack and Elevate rails and X4 cover (package deal $1900). It all went on easily. I had to bang on the X4 brackets a little to let the cover roll down nicely without catching the little hooks on the lip. I still need to add some foam and push the whole thing around a little, but...
Tell me more about these Billiebars. I'm assuming if you want to fold / roll up your tonneau you have to remove at least the back bar? I feel like if it was maybe 6in higher you could probably roll it up while keeping everything installed. I was imagining a short roof box on something similar...
I also have been looking at this for way too long. I'm thinking revolver x4 with Angry Elephant. I want to be able to drop the top of the bars below the cab when I don't need it to reduce wind noise and drag. The alternative is having to remove it fully when I don't need it, but for simplicity...
How are you liking the Bakfilp tonneau? I'm torn between that and the hard roll up. Eventually I want to have a rac like Adarac but I'll have to get their straight uprights if I want a tri-fold. Tough call...
