From what I understand, the problem is with a sensor that’s part of the steering assist. Apparently the sensor can’t be replaced and repair requires replacement of the entire steering column assembly. Dealer can’t seem to get the necessary part. Still wondering if several of our trucks were...

They offered but I haven’t taken them up on it yet. Been driving my old f150 but I promised to give it to a family member who is going to need it next week. Looks like I’ll take a loaner then but it’ll probably be a sedan which won’t work that well for me

I ordered mine in July 2021; built on 9/5 and took delivery on 10/07/2022. Power steering failed at 180 miles on 10/10. Been at dealer for close to 3 weeks waiting for a new steering column assembly that doesn’t seem to be available. Back to waiting!!
