Yes. That is not normal and should be looked at by a dealer.
I've got 22000 KM on mine at this point and the highest I've seen mine go is 11L/100 and that was straight from the dealer in a blizzard.
Drove it all through winter with Falken Wild Peak AT tires.
Drove mine home from the dealer today in a blizzard and got an average of 11.0 L/100KM. Ill be curious to see how much better it gets, I commute a fair bit for work and live in the sticks. Best I got on my old Mazda was 6.2 L/100KM
Hey dude, don't believe you're gonna find one anytime soon. I think the switch officially happened with builds scheduled end of november/beginning of december. I would reach out to your local dealers and ask them if they have any coming in or have customers that were in that boat and they might...
Don't hold your breath on them honoring the previous model years price. Everything is shooting up still in terms of cost, especially Aluminum and steel. Should've made that order sooner than later. They owe you nothing, the worlds a weird place still. Build sheet or not, they don't have to make...
Hey look, your typical backyard mechanic dildo spewing off on a forum without a clue of what a proper fix is.
The bed is still bulged AND the metal is still exposed. Not to mention that the metal has been stretched drastically and not shrunk back to retain rigidity. Small/shallow dents don't...
Probably. But if that person wants to stay employed, they won't say a word. All you can do is wait, maybe ford will release a statement, but for a newly launched vehicle, the last thing they want is people doubting the quality of the vehicles build, etc from factory.
I punched my vin into the convoy tracker and I have a pending freight bill with the origin of Concord, Kansas. Either its a place holder, a rail swap or its being trucked from Kansas to Onterrible.
Xlt lux package with the spray in. Went into production the 12th, built the 17th and on its way north now. Weird to me that it's a hold up for some but not others?
Not much in that category yet. Aftermarket is still in its infant stages. Really the only thing available at the moment is those rail tents that are about 2500ish. I think once we see aftermarket caps, you'll see a bunch of camping stuff for the bed shortly after.
As others have said though, a...
As someone with an Atkinson that is the basis for the maverick platform, you will not see any difference. I've put premium a handful of times into my 2.5 and each time my mileage didn't change enough to warrant the price. Not to mention there was no difference in power, engine noise, etc. I...
Most people at this point are aware they are in quite short supply and will delay your build a substantial amount, most dealers removed them from their stock unit orders to get them sooner too.
Rather get my truck sooner and source a tonneau later.
Anyone know of any stores carrying tonneau covers for our Mavericks up here in Canada?
Ford is backordered nation wide, one store in the GTA is drop shipping at an outrageous mark up and none of the American favorites seem to be shipping to Canada at the moment.
Anyone know of a store IN...
This.
It's a small utility pickup. Im sure some people will try to make them as Sporty as possible but ultimately if you plan on doing any kind of auto cross or racing through canyons, expecting any kind of performance feel and thrill, you bought the wrong vehicle.
Did anyone ever actually find anything? Dealers are all showing back ordered (as we know they can't even supply enough for production, let alone dealer purchases) and can't find any reliable places that aren't drop shipping/back ordered.
