I use my car daily. Somehow after work, I left the car with the blinking hazard lights on because of the snow all over the road. After one hour, I came back to find all sorts of errors—engine, steering, and all kinds of alarms—ultimately due to low battery. Fortunately, a Subaru saved me and I was able to start the vehicle. As of now, I have the engine light on, but hopefully it will disappear, or I'll have to reset it.
I replaced the battery about one and a half years ago.

By the way, if you're thinking about why you should buy a Maverick with the rear opening and sliding door—well, to pass the electric jumper cables through! That way, it would've been much less of a mess to use.
