Had the exact same experience. Local dealer was very responsive, Maverick was towed, battery replaced, PCM module reprogrammed, everything ok, sat for weekend and started sending alerts about deep sleep. DEALER is researching a solution, I am manually charging 12 volt if it is not driven for 2 days. Their are Ford service bulletins on this issue on Escape Hybrids with same electrical system as Maverick.

Had same issue, hybrid 5 months old. 2800 miles. Went to "deep sleep" overnight, call for a jump, started and then got the message about the internal fault in the PCS. Obviously all these sensors and controls have been cheaply engineered and not proof tested, all probably from the Chicoms. Bought this Mav for reliable transport as I am 74 yrs old and now I have no confidence in this product and a month ago had to take a day at Ford for software update and have another appointment two weeks away. Hope I dont need to get towed in the meantime. After reading all the horror stories in here about these Mavericks I think I should have kept my reliable aging Chevy Colorado. Had enough of all this electronic bs in my vehicle.

I’m 80 & own a 2022 XL Hybrid I waited a year for. It was built during when there was a batch of bad Mexican crankshafts installed. Mine has been fine but Ford upped the guarantee to 100K miles or 10 years, it was reassuring. I read about battery worries & bought a $60 jump start power brick to keep under front passenger seat. Never had to use. Ford puts underpowered 12V batteries in vehicles. My 28yr. old F150 that I just got rid of, had a marginal battery & a new one of same size was also weak in winter. I finally replaced it with a Canadian spec 12V with more power. Engine jumped to life on coldest days. Maverick is the best Vehicle I’ve ever owned, especially for a truck. Every software update seems to up the speed the electric motor will power the truck before gas engine kicks in. As far as GM products, they do a lot more dumb engineering.

I forgot to mention how much more I travel because the fantastic gas Mileage the Maverick gets & where else can you get a sunroof in a base model?
