The write-up at the very top contains full beginning to end instructions on getting this working. Yes, you will need to replace the left and right buttons. I would suggest following the linked tutorial for changes to install the right buttons. As far as programming, I have had ACC working for more a month with the programming as stated in the write-up.

I can't say for sure, but I can offer my experience. I don't recall getting any pre-collision warnings prior to installing ACC. Since I've had it, I have gotten maybe 5 or so. I might have inadvertently changed the sensitivity level, but I don't believe I did. So it's possible it is more reactive since it has more data to work with.

Finally got all my parts in! Time to see if how this works on an Ecoboost XL without the EBB. Also I am going to use the Escape CCM first to see if works on the Maverick. 🤞🤞

I got 90% of the way. Everything’s installed and wired with the exception of needing different pin terminals for the IPMA. I should have opened it up beforehand to confirm, but I didn’t. Working on sourcing the pigtail for the IPMA

All that’s left is to install the pin terminals to the IPMA then to load my as-built with the ACC changes and calibrate.

Quick Update on the terminals for the IPMA. After looking at the Ford PTS under Terminal info for connector C9039 I pulled the following numbers

Typing in the service numbers brings to me a fuel pump jumper wire kit that has the pins, not exactly what I was looking for since that kit is about $36, but it pointed me in the direction of another part number, WT-1038. I went on over to my Ford Dealer and placed an order for (2) of them. Should be here Thursday.

If you order the LU2Z-14474-AA part number online it will be much much cheaper and some places have them in a pack of (5).

They were able to confirm that the part number is for a single terminal and the
LU2Z-14474-AA number pops up as well when they put in WT-1038. They were about $8.50 each. Not sure if it's the pin by itself or a pigtail with the pin on it, but we'll find out soon enough. I am itching to get this working.

It’s wedged in tight and the bottom hooks hold it pretty well. It has stayed tight over the last 300 miles I’ve put on it with it on. The cover is tapered so I cut the grill to accept the taper.

Correct. @Gilbillygucci is doing it to an XL EB so may have more insight to offer.
Whenever the my new maverick CCM arrives or if I’m able to get the firmware whichever comes first. I’ll be able to start posting progress again.

Ok dumb question XL here. Do I need the XL switches on top of the ACC switches or do the ACC switches replace the XLT CC switches?
