i would check the connector itself behind the grill for the CCM. It is most likely corroded specially if you use touch less car washes frequently. I’ve already replaced mine at 34k. Water made its way down the jacket too.
3 recalls so far, one battery swap from the flooded battery to the AGM battery and currently my passenger rear window stopped working so I am getting a new window motor.
If you buy a cluster with lower miles you can program the miles through forscan. If the cluster you bough has higher miles then you can send it to https://www.clustersbylivnitup.com/ and he can program the correct mileage.
As far as the dealer it might depend on who, but I don't have a good...
No updates since I went down the rabbit hole on some other mods and it's also bike season now. I do plan on continuing to update when I can, specially since we can use explorer digital clusters as well as the Corsair cluster(to some extent) I want to get my hands on an explorer one to play with...
They poke slightly in the front. I actually wanted to add like a 10-15mm in the back to even it out. Looks agressive as is. The ford mudflap sticks out further than the tire.

Just to spend the money on decent wheels regardless? XL is the best bang for the buck unless you are not mechanically inclined. The difference between XL and XLT is not worth it unless you like orange.
I have Adaptive cruise, Escape digital dash, full stereo system, wheels and tires and I only...
Yes I did, although I did recently switch this wire to something more industrial since I had some leftover from my work(Wire just needs to have 4 wires, anything from like 18awg-24awg should be fine).
I had an issue with my original WPT-1198 plug that caused it to get corroded so while I was...
Yup, if you did this install on an Ecoboost(No Electric Brake Booster) you will have to deal with this message unfortunately. I have not found a way to turn it off, only way to get rid of it would be to install the EBB. I mentioned this a couple pages back. I am nearing 25k miles with ACC now. f...
There is not enough space behind the grill. I was going to try this method when I first installed it. Also it would probably eat up the sensor real good without a cover on it if we could. After 20k some odd miles, mine has plenty of chips on the cover.
What he's asking is changing it from the default 3 flashes to be 5 flashes instead. I have been looking for this as well since the method used on the f150 in forscan did not work for me.
Theres a whole lot of fear mongering in this thread. Go to the DIY section, we have all this covered already, read it from start to finish. You are in a great position that you have a hybrid. Easiest one of them all to install it in, including the lane assistance stuff that you will need...
I think you can set it up to work for it's intended function, limiting speed, but that is NOT cruise control.
AFAIK, you would need switches for cruise or ACC and program it via forscan.
I'll check on this today, You don't get a "U0100: lost communication with PCM/ECM"? That's my only DTC I get from the cluster. I initially thought was related to the traction button, but it's not. It goes away when I plug in my old cluster.
This DTC has not caused a single issue though, I just...
When launching forscan and connecting, you need to scan for new modules by creating a new profile. When that pop up comes up don't use the old profile since that will only have a list of modules from whenever first did the profile.
Nope, I gave up. Since that button configuration does not exist on the escape there is not way to program it.
I honestly don’t intend on using it (I’ve only ever used it to do snow donuts). If I need traction disabled I just switch it to Sand/Snow mode and it does what it needs to do.
I did...
