When will Maverick hit a million sold ???

I'm curious about the collective wisdom. I think we're about to hit a half million sold by the end of CY 2025. The Maverick is currently selling at 130,000 to 150,000 per year, which is about capacity at Hermosillo (as long as the plant is shared with another model).

I imagine there will be some corks popping at Ford later this decade. I don't think in their wildest dreams they expected to sell a million Mavericks.

When answering, keep in mind that competition will arrive soon. Including from Ford.

I said 2028 but I think 2029 is probably the safest answer.

Sales seem to be settling at about 11K per month. That puts the 1 million target at Q4 2029.
Increase production capacity seems unlikely since supply and demand have equalized. Expect demand will soften slightly and 2030 is more likely.

Unless they fix the deep sleep problem they may soon see sales drop off precipitously when prospective buyers do presale research and realize that Ford doesn't really care about fixing problems in the vehicle that they have acknowledged exist.

When they start selling Maverick in other markets, that will be the tipping point for sales.

I am saying 2030. Someone posted above that they are selling about 11k a month, so that would put it quarter four of 2029, So I am going to say 2030 just in case they have a few months where it's short.

I went with 2030. MY 29 projection seems to assume no competition in the near future. I am not sure that is the case................... Also assumes continued economic conditions as we have had.

I said 2029. Either way, towards the end of the decade. Anyone who worked at Ford and thought this truck wouldn't sell well clearly was out of touch with the modern automobile consumer market.

When Toyota enters the market, that will take some wind out of the sales, so I figure later than sooner.

I dont know but when I got my first Mav in early 22, I didn't see another for weeks at a time, people would stop me and ask what it is, on second one now and there all over.
