the wiper park area is a debris/snow trap. pure silliness imho. where form and function both FAIL.

ok let's all pretend we're in the room with the next Maverick cycle refresh team for a moment and they give you ONE thing on the next truck that you can change/remove or add...what would it be? 1st thing i would say is that they did good with our beloved little truck but there's always room for improvement. i don't mean your whole 'wish list' , just that ONE thing or feature that Ford should consider next, i know there's a lot more that we would all like but that's for a different thread. my biggest beef is having to reset the drive mode EVERY time i restart the truck, it's just asinine IMHO. i mean really how much would the chip or circuit that could retain the last selected drive mode add to the MSRP? i know it's only 4 quick button clicks but why not just be able to choose a driving mode you like and then go on with your life? what say you? i think we could do ourselves and Ford a great service here with our feedback as we are what i believe is the preeminent online Maverick truck community, if they pay attention to us we could actually have a impact on the next Maverick, how cool would that be?

The one thing that I would like is for the blind spot warning had a beeping sound when someone was in your blind spot and you signal to move over. It's hard to view the mirror warning with someone in the passenger seat. You also have to take your eyes off of whats going on in front of you for a few seconds. Thats when s*** happens!

Let's start with everything as-is just works as-advertised for the foreseeable future, no question about it.

Don't shoot for the moon if you can't even get off the block without breaking down.

I sold my Maverick this week. Zero confidence in the product or Ford. If I could expect it to work like it did from day one I would be a life long fan, but I didn't have that expectation. I don't participate in Beta tests with my own money on the line.

Now it's on to Toyota. I will buy a N.A. 4-cyl or 6-cyl Tacoma and drive it until the wheels fall off, I could care less about the mileage it gets as long as it still runs 20 years from now.
Your money and your decision. BTW: I have seen quite a few Tacos in the shop, so hope the wheels do not fall off too soon and you can get more than 20 years out of it.

You didn't look at the marketing materials or reviews? The interior plastic doesn't just look like recycled materials, it is recycled materials. Ford pushed it as a selling point to the target buyers they had in mind when developing the vehicle (millennials).
Guess I missed that, in researching the Mav. well, if it works..
Funny thing is... Most of the Mav's that I have seen around town (saw two more this morning) are being driven by aging Babyboomers like me.. :p
Except for the "Blonde" that was driving an Area51 XL, at a high rate of speed...

The interior quality blows. The plastics quality is the worst that I have ever seen in any vehicle I have ever been in.

Passable in 22k XLs, but a slap in the face at 35-40k.

In terms of features, I'd like to see a seat bottom cushion that is independently adjustable.
Then why did you buy one??

Kill the cubby by the screen and putting bigger screen.
Hard pass. My work vehicles the past few years have been a 22 F15 and a 23 Silverado 1500. I hate their centered screens. the offset screen on the maverick in conjunction with the smaller cab results in me being able to actually comfortably reach the screen from the drivers seat without leaning over; and it's not like I'm short or anything at 6'0". offset screen with little side cubby was a selling point for me.
For all the "cheaping out" Ford did to keep Maverick prices down, they also put some real thought on how to implement those cheap materials and it shows. It's the little nuanced things that make a vehicle great; and design quality > material quality in my opinion.

A CD player so I can listen to Sam Cooke when I am cruising all day. When I am driving my F150, I hold my beloved's hand and sing along with "You Send Me". Honest, I do!

Otherwise, the Maverick is perfect for me.

Longer bed, all terrain tires (especially for FX4 package), hybrid all wheel drive would be great. Also I’d love it the stereo didn’t default to FM radio after I connect my phone to it, that makes zero sense.
