My biggest pet peeve is having to pick the drive mode I want to be in each and every time I start it up. It would be nice if it remembered that you drive in Sport Mode or Eco Mode. I will be halfway down the road and remember I didn't set it.

Yea it would be nice if it would default to the last one you were using.

I’m annoyed by the frequent “ remote features disabled “notifications. And on sunny days, the glare from the hood where it’s dished out and the glare from the bottom of the steering wheel. And the easily scratched plastic.

I should've known this going in but for me, it's the easily scratched interior. Even if you look at it wrong, it finds a way to scratch. It's all over the trim around the grab handle. The plastic has no give whatsoever. Just cold, hard, brittle plastic.

Even if "it's only a $20K truck" that doesn't give them the right to use the absolute crappiest plastic in the world. There's a lot of $20K vehicles that use nicer, injection molding plastic that's soft to the touch and is more scratch resistant. For example, the Mazda 3, Honda Civic and Kia K4.

And speaking of plastic, it likes to rattle from time to time. It depends on the outside temperature. This has been a common complaint since launch. Once you hear it, it's annoying as f***.
This is a gripe of mine as well. It wasn't two weeks of ownership when I scratched a door panel fumbling at night for the door handle.

And its always perfectly aimed right into the retinas.

"WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME?!"
lol it actually does double honk for a variety of reasons including:

- truck is running and you got out with the keyfob
- you turned off the ignition before putting it in park
- you tried to lock the door with the touch door handle, but there's a keyfob inside

My bet is likely number 3 for me.

Gen Z and X er's just ignore my comment.. My pet peeve is ALL the damned software control over the entire truck. If I wanted to be made to hit multiple buttons just to get the truck out of my driveway, I would have bought a plane with all the checklist........

FALSE!
These may be some reasons but I have thoroughly documented the RANDOM HONK for absolutely NO reason. If I had the capability to read the telematics logs I would have some answers but I don't !! So for you people that believe Ford make no mistakes sorry to burst your bubble.... The software sucks..

I saw a video where a couple go into the store to shop and their dog honks the horn and barks for them to return. I think that may be what's going on here. 🤔

I hate the short inside door handle/armrest. It's difficult to use on windy days.

Wife said ours was more a truckette! I told her not masculine enough for me. How about The "Truckster"?
ahh, so many diminutives to choose from.

Truckchin?

Trucking?

Truckicito?

🤪

Face it; she'll win this.

Just buy it a frilly skirt and be done with it!

Where does one order the slow tailgate fix?
Pass your local carrier pigeon a note. It will hand it over to a snail relay, which will bring it to a dealer.

Slow enough?

🤔

Well, someone didn't watch Lassie enough growing up!

Timmie is stuck in a well (again). Three villains were chasing him; the bald one has a pigleg.

No dog or cat or zebra. And it happens whether my wife is in the truck or not. I think of it as the truck telling me it will miss me when I open the door to leave..... ?! Maybe the truck is my dog?!
