What exactly do you get with the Lariat (vs XLT)?

The XLT interior works as a theme, but frankly it reminds me of a nautical themed comforter set. I like orange personally, but don't really get it in the Maverick. Seems like the neon orange would clash with most exterior colors. But I don't like the brown in the Lariat either.
You finally said what I couldn't come up with!!!! It has a nautical theme with the orange trim everywhere!!! I'm in a truck!! Not a boat!!! Not that I am in love with the brown but I could live with it easier.

Well it was easy for me to spot since it's the color scheme of my bedroom

I ordered the Lariat because I just could not stomach the "orange trim". That just did not sit well with me. I plan on using seat covers eventually but that orange trim just didn't grab me.
I hate orange colo

It’s pretty hard for me to quibble over the Lariat upgrade when it’s still like 30k less than if I configured an F150 that way. I got an optioned out Mav coming with enough wiggle room to buy my wife her next car too. I did love my 2012 F150 but was ready go’s something smaller and cheaper.

The Lariat Lux Hybrid with Cyber Orange (which itself is a $500 upcharge) rang in at $29,700 with the dealer I am working with (that is 3% under invoice). The average new car transaction price is now $40k. I feel like what I have ordered is a much better deal than a fully loaded Civic or Corolla.

All Maverick trims are really quite good deals in this modern world of ours.

For me the main perks of the lariat that you cannot get on the XLT is the adaptive cruise control and the acoustic windshield. Just not enough to justify the additional cost over the XLT for me.

I figure if my windshield ever gets cracked, I can just get the acoustic windshield as a replacement.

I was going to order the XLT, but then I sat in both it and the Lariat. The stiffer, rougher XLT seats seem durable, but not comfortable. The ActiveX is far more comfortable than expected.
I do like the acoustic windshield, power rear window, dual-zone climate, and ACC, of course. But the seats pushed me to the Lariat. Probably would not have paid too much for just those, but all those things combine into a package worth the money for me.

I wanted the Lariat primarily because of the seats and the B&O sound system. I wound up having to take a truck off the dealers showroom because I wanted the adaptive cruise, and AWD. I wound up with the 4k towing package that I may never tow with but it is supposed to come with a larger radiator and engine fan as well as a trans cooler so maybe add to longevity of the power train. I also had to take the Black appearance group which means black seating which is ok, no chrome anywhere except the AWD badge and maybe my favorite color hot pepper read (a dark metallic orange). A couple of thousand in options I would not have needed but I had no car or truck to drive so I needed what I could get quickly. I guess I have most everything except a sun roof which I did not want in Texas. I also did not need the long drive from Waco to a Houston area dealer but I love my truck. It never disappoints me except for the radio.

XL is the best bang for the buck. That's why 66% of all orders are XL's in the order bank.

I ordered a RR FE Hybrid because probably my last vehicle. I do think the XLT with 360 and Lux Pkg is best option on Price and Features for the money.
I had no choice but to get the Lariat for the push button start. I like some of the other features, but living in Florida, didn't need all the heating stuff. Again, happy wife, (push button start) happy life!
