What did your maverick replace?

What did you drive before the maverick? I replaced a 2016 f250 supercab long bed gas. Just wondering how diversified the maverick community is. Because the maverick can play alot of roles in the automotive world. I see people get out of Priuses , trucks, suvs, minivans. I bought mine because I needed a daily that could haul a boat ,camper small stuff. Superduty was nice when towing the stuff I have didn't even know it was there. But first and foremost I needed a daily driver for a 60 mile round trip. My Maverick has filled that slot perfectly. What's your story?

2020 Hyundai Kona. Fantastic small SUV that could do a lot, but couldn't survive an unattended overnight hit-n-run while parked in a Dallas suburb.

2017 f250 platty. Truck is lifted 4 inches, deleted, tuned, transcript bars, on 37s. It is a panty dropper truck. Only 48k when I traded for my Maverick

1998 Toyota LandCruiser. I know the Toyota guys would say I am crazy for that.

I'm not a Toyota guy but I would totally replace my Maverick with a 98 LC if it was in decent shape. Gas bill would definitely take a hit but I love that generation of LC so I would consider it worth it.

picked up my 25 maverick AWD Hybrid and improved to 47 MPG combined. I use it to deliver pizza’s get paid mileage. It absolutely pays for itself in mileage pay out. I fill it up on Tuesday’s and drive it for about 10 days. 6-7 working days at 9 hours. Best ride I’ve ever owned, as long as they make them I’ll have one

I'm getting 21.5 MPG this tank of gas 2025 XLT AWD Maverick with the 2.0 EB but that's only 8 mile trips to work 6 stop signs 1 stop light and 50 mph max speed but mostly 40 mph speeds.

I replaced a 2011 Ford focus. ( The last trouble free year) that got totaled. In reality I never liked the focus. But it was all I could afford at the time( 2020) since my sister let me pay her in installments. And it was very reliable . It had 245,000 relatively trouble free miles on it. But I'd always wanted a truck to go alongside it. Before that I had a 1997 Ranger. I have bad luck with vehicles. Either I hit someone, they hit me, deer jump in front of me, or trees fall in the road around a blind curve at night. I'm praying that I have better luck with my Maverick. Anyway, the Maverick with it's 4 doors was a replacement for the sedan AND serves as the pickup I occasionally need.

2023 Ford Escape Platinum that I bought on March 29th 2025. Got cut off by an uninsured motorist in August. Got the repairs done and car back on Sept. 3rd and replaced the Escape with a 2025 Maverick Lobo on Sept. 12th 2025.

The Escape was solid until the accident.
Quiet cabin noise, ride was smooth and gas mileage was 30+

I miss the sound system thay was by Panasonic with an 8 inch sub in the back end. Nice bump. I’m sure there is something out there I can install in the Mavi.
love the mpg on the 2.0 turbo close to 30 all day long and highway at 73mph I get about 32-35mpg.

I bought the lil Mav to replace my Fiesta ST. The only reason I got the Mav was because I was tired of having to get my trailer to move my motorcycles around. I still have the Fiesta though, and it's been listed for sale for about a month now, but the longer it stays listed for sale the more I just want to keep it.......haha
