What did your maverick replace?

What did you drive before the maverick? I replaced a 2016 f250 supercab long bed gas. Just wondering how diversified the maverick community is. Because the maverick can play alot of roles in the automotive world. I see people get out of Priuses , trucks, suvs, minivans. I bought mine because I needed a daily that could haul a boat ,camper small stuff. Superduty was nice when towing the stuff I have didn't even know it was there. But first and foremost I needed a daily driver for a 60 mile round trip. My Maverick has filled that slot perfectly. What's your story?

In July of 2023, my Tremor replaced my 2007 GMC Canyon RWD, 2-DR (not crew or even extra-cab, but missed 6-ft bed) bench seat (useless middle) gas 4-cyl, rear drum-braked & leaf-spring, with a combined 18mpg and bounced over even the smallest road imperfection!

My Mav is worlds better in every respect - power, ride quality, braking, handling, interior comfort, mileage, and the ability to transport the missus and , as well as the very seldom other family member(s). Again, the only thing missed - to a minimal degree, would be the 6-ft bed but was something I was perfectly willing to sacrifice for the numerous other improvements/upgrades.

I have a '25 on order, but it will be replacing a Prius v (the wagon). More utility with about the same city mpg and a lot more power. Plus I look forward to having AWD again since we average 5' of snow a year.
