I will be replacing a Challenger Scat Pack WB with the Lobo, hope I won't miss the V8 too much
Kinda hard to compare the two. It's going to be a it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow thing. I can only imagine The Lobo is going to be way better handling than my fx4. That being said I drive the wheels off this thing like go kart. Its way easier to get out of shape driving a portly v8 rear drive than a awd. I have more fun pushing the my mav than my Mach. Run 93 octane. Get a tune. You'll adjust fine.

2024 Maverick, non hybrid.
Decided I needed to dip my toe into the electrification pool since it seems inevitable we are heading that way.

I replaced my 2018 Chevrolet Equinox LT 1.6 liter diesel with a 2022 Maverick XLT 2.0 liter AWD and the FX4 package that I found used for a sweet deal. I really liked the diesel Equinox for the mileage but it being the diesel and Chevy's dumb choice of placing the timing belt between the engine and transmission I was not going to pay the big $ to have it replaced in the next year or so. At 85,000 miles I decided it had to go.

The other issue is the fact that since I had sold my 2004 Dodge Ram with the 5.9 liter cummins I wanted a small pickup as it would fit my life style better then the Dodge which was over sized for me and the diesel Equinox that was going to need major costs to keep running.

I am very pleased with the driving dynamics of the Maverick it feels close to the same comfort and feel driving as the Equinox and I can now haul some lighter items with it. It actually is the best fit for me.

So I got the Maverick to replace the Equinox and I sold off the Dodge Ram as not needed

Ford Maverick What did your maverick replace? IMG_0280

I loved the 1/2 tons I’ve had but no longer need the capacity: now it’s about efficiency.

This '25 hybrid Mav replaced a '24 Mav, non hybrid, which replaced a '23 F150. The F150 was used to pull a race car on a trailer, which I sold and so I no longer needed the towing capacity of the F150. I think I've got the truck I really want now. I hope....

In a few minutes a 25 xl hybrid will replace a 2017 Kia sorento with 104k miles on the odometer. I actually liked a lot of things about the Kia, but I had a very bad experience with some repairs last year and it was showing signs of its age and mileage, mechanically. Time for it to go.

Those marks drive nice and are pretty fast for what it is. They hold a production vehicle speed record. 188 + . Always liked the platform. I have a 89 cougar xr7. Same platform.

1992 Toyota Pickup. Original engine/tranny. 296k. The horn stopped working so said it was time to go.
The horn goes and its time to go? Hope the maverick can fill those shoes. those things are bullet proof.

time was getting near. Rear springs shot, reverse? Give it 45 seconds. Another exhaust leak to fix. Bit of an oil leak top annd rear seal. Also starting to burn some oil. Wiper motor has slow and slower speed:sadface:. It had a good life.
