  1. What did your maverick replace?

This '25 hybrid Mav replaced a '24 Mav, non hybrid, which replaced a '23 F150. The F150 was used to pull a race car on a trailer, which I sold and so I no longer needed the towing capacity of the F150. I think I've got the truck I really want now. I hope....
  2. Around town mpg: 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD

I just drive the thing like I drive any other vehicle. I'm not going to pussy foot it and screw up other traffic to try and get fuel mileage. I do find it a bit too chatty at times. The L/100 kms so far isn't impressing me all that much. I also find the electric doesn't kick in all that...
  3. Fuel fill-up question

My understanding is that it minimizes the probability of condensation forming on the walls of the tank due to the air space. This happens in cold weather. Obviously, water in the tank is not good. I never let mine get below half a tank.
  4. What did your maverick replace?

2024 Maverick, non hybrid. Decided I needed to dip my toe into the electrification pool since it seems inevitable we are heading that way.

  6. Snow Turd Removal

Well, then I guess us Canadians are going to do a lot of walking six months of the year. Or I'll just continue to drive, in snow, as I always have done for the last (73-16=57) 57 years. Seriously guys, snow is no big deal, hell I raced on ice for 25 years. Both with and without studs. Yes, it...
  7. Future Mavericks - I am optimistic

Ford could capture the Amish/Mennonite market.
  8. New Hybrid owner

Hi All, New to the forum, not new to Fords. Have owned 4 Mustangs, 3 of which were track day cars and I now have a 2024 Dark Horse for the track. A few years ago I owned a motorcoach built on a E450 chassis which we used to pull the track day cars on a trailer to the tracks. The coach was...
