As a daily driver/work vehicle it replaced a E150 Club wagon. Fast forward a year and the Maverick was replaced by a Ford Flex.
Purchased new 2000 Tacoma SR5 Extended Cab, sold with 99,000 miles. The Maverick hybrid interior is an improvement, but on the reliability side the jury is still out. Took delivery on new XLT on 9/23/24 and was at dealership service for four days last week for the deep sleep issue. Hmmm …

Maverick ordered July 2023 arrived March 2024. Replaced a 1999 Merc Sable wagon - (alternator died @ 150,000 miles) and a 2004 Toyota Highlander (265,000 miles sold still running strong!). First "ordered and brand new" vehicle at 67 years old. (Wife's cars do NOT count!). I am still allowed to keep my 1992 Mustang GT Convertible (catch me cop red! 140,000 miles). We have been running the wheels off of the Mav so far - at 15,000 miles in 9 months!

Welcome to owning a Ford. Check out the ESP warranties. Well worth it if you are going to keep the truck. I have had issues already also. Since you have already taken the depreciation hit it is cheaper to buy the warranty then bail. I have looked into it.

One thing I will give them is you can buy the warranty from anywhere and there is competition. I came from a 2014 Frontier that I miss daily.

You can call Grainger Ford for Ford extended warranties. They have the best prices. Beat anyone's price.

A very bland ( except for the pinstriping) Nissan Frontier . It was the cheapest new truck I could buy when I retired. Drove it 57 months , sold it to CarMax for $1600 MORE than I paid for it new , then I ordered my Maverick back in October '21 .

Was driving a 2018 Explorer. Really liked it. My daughter had a 2004 Mustang. She was vehicle 3 in a 4 car accident. Her Mustang was totaled. She was nervous about driving (she saw the car behind her not slowing down). I gave her my Explorer since it was a bigger vehicle. I had a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer that I kept for a back up vehicle. Unfortunately, after 265k miles, it finally gave up the ghost. Needed something now. Wanted a Ranger (had one previously). No one had one with the extended cab. Found my Maverick (Lariet) at CarMax. Decent price. No haggling.
