What age group Maverick owner / buyer are you?

Ford already said the hybrid bookings are trending much higher than they forecasted and just looking at numbers dealers probably won’t even get their hands on a hybrid until late spring. There are 6-7 vehicles that compete with the gas Maverick, there are zero vehicles that compete with the hybrid Maverick. If you want gas you can get a Honda. Chevy, 2 Fords, Nissan and Hyundai.

I'm one of those 50yr+ buyers and first time Pickup buyer. Ford hit a grand slam with the Maverick.

I think the Maverick has an appeal across most age groups to those with no use for a gas guzzling workhorse but see a viable alternative to say, a small hybrid SUV.

Ford might want to take note of this distribution. I didn’t expect it to resonate so well across all age groups…. You know, then again, maybe it shouldn’t be too surprising. It really has features that check a lot of boxes for folks in a wide range of age groups. The stats are pretty dang even.

Turned 50 this year. However, I’m buying this with the intent that my 13 year old will learn to drive* in it and eventually get it as his primary Vehicle. He decided he wants a truck and this seems to be a great option.

* I wouldn’t want to learn I my wife’s huge Navigator L and I don’t trust him to handle my MINI Cooper S JCW manual.
