I've expressed my thoughts on the current front end design trend in an earlier post and again, I have to say, "What's going on with the automotive design teams that has made them so angry"? Ten years ago, cars looked 'happier'.

Maybe it's a sign of the times.

Luis C.K. said it perfectly in his routine he did on Conan O'Brien called Everything is Amazing & Nobody Is Happy. It's hilarious...and accurate.

Maybe car/truck designers need a little dose of the '80s. Everything was great in the '80s. The great '80s. The greaties!

I think the 25s look great My only complaint if I was to buy one would be as you can no longer get the EcoBoost in front wheel drive / two-wheel drive. I have no use whatsoever for an all-wheel drive vehicle or four-wheel drive whatever it is.

Never have when the weather's that bad that it requires four-wheel drive I stay home.

A while ago I created a post showing how we can hide the undesirable look of the '25 front end redesign. (Best Idea Ever)

I realized today, we're just looking at this all wrong. Remember those pictures that can be two things? In this one you either see a chalice (if you focus on the white) or two faces facing each other (if you focus on the black). You see something entirely different depending on which color you focus on.

It just depends on what you focus on. From now on I'm focusing on the ominous horns down bull image. "Who's with me? Let's go! Ahhhhhhhh...."

Well the Volkswagen Thing wins as ugliest car. BUT the new 2025 Maverick front end is just ugly too. I have a 2023 so no worry for me. But I hope they fix it by next version, Doesn't look like Toyota is coming out with any competition.

I saw a few '25s at the dealer today. They look way better in real life than they do in photos. Not bad at all.

Edit: Actually, I just thought I saw '25 Mavericks. My mistake.
