I am feeling PTSD symptoms after seeing the Front of the 2025 Maverick which reminded of my reaction to the horrible Lexus SUV grills!! Did Ford hire Lexus desinger to buture the front!?! Whose idea was it to have 2 Metal paddles aim north towards the LED front light?! It looks like it was an after-thought to cover empty holes behind them (see photo).

I am not impressed and I doubt I will

get used to it.

I like the daytime running lights. It looks like aerodynamics will be improved. That "paddle" piece isn't kewl.

Some may like it, some think it was hit with the ugly stick! I agree it may vary with color choice.

I think aerodynamics went "wrong". The new bumper appears slightly more efficient. I have no idea what the wind tunnel test says for prior v. 2025 tests.

Not sure if I like the front end treatment but think it will grow on me so I just ordered a 25 Maverick. Its my 4th one but running out of colors I like.

I'll acknowledge that I probably have a little bit of bias, since I ordered a '25, but...

I don't get the hate. This is a way more modern look, more in line with the F-150, and clearly denotes the mid-cycle refresh from the outside. I don't love the grille pattern, and I do think they could have made it look more seamless (like the Lobo sketch in the 2025 announcement). Narrow headlights are in, and I think that even the XL/XLT lights look good (though I won't argue that the Lariat lights are better).

I agree that it looks better on darker colors, and I also think it's ridiculous that only the Lobo has fog lights. That said, I ordered an XLT in Eruption Green, so obviously I liked it enough to put in an order!

They had to do something with the hole they left in the front by removing lights to save a few bucks. Cheapest solution was to cover it up with a bumper extension. This is just like adding a flipper in your mouth if you lose a tooth. The only thing is the extended bumper flap is ugly and should have been designed with a different material but that would have cost Ford some $$$. It is almost like they removed the light and then just before production realized they had a hole in the front grill and had to quickly stick someting there. Those designers need to be demoted to sweepers.

The front end bugs me too. But, I figured it out - it will blend well with Black color.
Every other color makes it pop out.. for me.

Looks like a prime place to do some customizing. Extra lights, towing hooks or, I have a '56 Pontiac bumper. Perhaps those big chrome tits off that?

I like that that Azure Grey (dirty blue) on my '24 is now metallic.
