My friend is storing his Malibu wake boat at my house for a few weeks while he works on his driveway. I told him I would take it to the car wash to wash it for him but every time I try to go down the driveway my front tires come off the ground. Any way to prevent this?? What is the tow capacity of this thing? His truck has fat fenders with four wheels in the back and I asked him if that was better. Oh, by the way, I locked myself out twice today… my dash rattles and what’s that green thing under my rear fender? thanks in advance.

Way too much tongue weight. Unhook it now and make your buddy move the boat. I think that green thing is a manual fuel door release. Watch out when opening the drivers door from inside that you don't push the lock button.

You probably just have the nose-lift system activated. Press the little round button in the overhead console to lower the front end back down.

Your terminology is correct. You locked yourself out of the truck by inadvertently pushing the Lock lever, while pushing open the door.

The green tab hanging down on the driver side rear wheel is the manual fuel door release.

The front wheels come up to prevent front tire wear. It's a feature.
