Doing it yourself or doing something like the CLC DIY kits? I am doing the CLC route personally to avoid excessive machining and fiberglass layout.
Leaning heavily towards the CLC Pocket Ship. I am intending to build from plans not a kit. Hence the wait to start. I need the Maverick to haul the plywood. My Forester won't cut it.

I can’t do the lifting anymore legs fine, arms fine, it’s where they connect that’s damaged.
I applaud you, were I in better condition I would do the same. Building from hand even with some else’s plans is no small undertaking, but you will know your vessel well.

I built a Pygmy Murrelet from a kit about 5 years ago so I feel pretty comfortable with the techniques.
