The truck says 35 psi on the front and rear. I have exactly 35 psi with 3 different gauges. But the display says 39 psi front, and 38 psi rear. So what does Ford want ? What the display shows or what a gauge shows ? All pressures checked cold. And when checked hot, same difference in pressure.
Thanks

Ford "wants" 35 psi cold, per the driver's side door jamb label.

If you trust your gauges more than the dash display, then you are good. Personally my dash display only varies 1 psi or less compared to any gauge I've used.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Precautions

Ford Maverick Tire Pressure {filename}
WARNING: The tire pressure monitoring system is not a substitute for manually checking tire pressures. You should periodically check tire pressures using a pressure gauge. Failure to correctly maintain tire pressures could increase the risk of tire failure, loss of control, vehicle rollover and personal injury.
Ford Maverick Tire Pressure {filename}
WARNING: Do not use the tire pressure displayed in the information display as a tire pressure gauge. Failure to follow this instruction could result in personal injury or death.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Limitations

When the outside temperature drops significantly, the tire pressure could decrease and activate the low tire pressure warning lamp.
The warning lamp could also illuminate when you use a spare wheel, or tire sealant from the inflator kit.
Note: Regularly checking the vehicle tire pressures can reduce the possibility for the warning lamp to illuminate due to outside air temperature changes.
Note: After you inflate the tires to the recommended pressure it could take up to two minutes of driving over 20 mph (32 km/h) for the warning indicator to turn off.

There is a way to recalibrate the sensors. Yours seems to be off.

it should match up very close after you've driven it a little bit manually setting them to 35 or whatever your preference is. I have not noticed much of any difference between my gauges vs the dash display after driving it

I settled at 35PSI but the Ford App shows 37PSI

There is no harm in running higher pressure up to the maximum the tire is rated for. Most tires are rated for at least 40psi. The ride may be a bit firmer. I run all my vehicles slightly higher than the recommended pressure.

As long as you are above 30 on the sensors you won't get a warning.

I've been up to 46 psi and no high warning.
A high pressure warning may not exist.
When my Mav was delivered new it was about that high.

I have several different tire pressure gauges I use and none of them agree with each other.😂
I decided to use the Stanley. I can set it for 35 lbs. and forget it. It turns off automatically. That's a cold pressure for a vehicle in the garage. It ends up being the same pressure shown on the dashboard so I'm happy.
That's close enough for me and let's face it we aren't driving NASCAR here.

As far as rotating tires.
I very seldom rotate my tires unless they need to be balanced also. I had 22,300 Mi on the tired when I took these photos.
If this is indicative of the wear I don't see a reason to rotate them.
If they were wearing unevenly that would be indicative of a different problem.
