When changing the transmission fluid on the 2.0, looks like the airbox must be removed to get to the trans vent/filler. Could someone make a longer version that would reach up to the top of the engine somewhere ? Seems that would speed up things the second fluid change. Charlie

The truck says 35 psi on the front and rear. I have exactly 35 psi with 3 different gauges. But the display says 39 psi front, and 38 psi rear. So what does Ford want ? What the display shows or what a gauge shows ? All pressures checked cold. And when checked hot, same difference in pressure...

I have a 24 model XL. I installed the Ford mud flaps when I get the truck new. But I still get mud down the side. Does anyone make a longer mud flap that will have more protection ? Or is there another way to accomplish this ? Charlie

Was oil viscosity a problem with the early ones ? If so, what happened ? Was it an oil problem or a parts problem ?

There is some debate on oil viscosity. Seems there always is. A feller was telling me a few days ago that with these particular engines, the VVT would not work if the oil was too thick. So, me being what I am, I ask why. He couldn't give any real info much on anything, but held fast that it...

I have a new 2024 with the 2.0 engine. I read a lot about the direct injection causing dirty intake valves. Is this common ? If so, what can be done to minimize it ? Also, something about needing a drain in the air line after the turbo I believe ? This truck will always be bone stock, no mods...

This 2024 Maverick XL has these threaded holes on the insides of the bed. I could use this as tie downs. Does anyone know what diameter and thread pitch these are ? I'd like to put some eye bolts here. Thanks Charlie
