I have the original to the Accutire mentioned above. Had 3 actually as dad bought them over 20 years ago - all match in their readings, which match a tire shop nice one that is claimed to be accurate.

Sadly this article doesn't say anything about testing accuracy. Except to say what several places say - the pen style is not accurate.

So, I have been pining for a good gauge for a long time, but I bought a Mav instead. Seriously, I figured I would not need another gauge as the Mav has the TPM. So I am curious, is the TPM not adequate?

XL, Poverty edition hybrid. I get it next week.
My TPMS reads a bit high. I set with a gauge and ignore the TPMS readings. The Maverick does not complain about it and the mileage is very good. Have a set in my four winter wheels also. There more for leaks.

I know my 23 Maverick hybrid has the tire pressure screen
But I am looking for a good digital tire pressure gauge
When one searches Amazon or any internet search one is presented with thousands of results
What do you all recommend for a tire gauge? Thank You
IMO, cut the crap* and don't buy a tire gauge from Jeff Bozo. Get yourself a real damn analogue gauge, none of that Amazon crap. I've got my Harley Davidson gauge and it's gonna last a lifetime. If it's good enough for 2 tires, it's good enough for me.

*This is why I don't buy tailgate lettering, tailgate assist or any etsy/amazon accessories. I want budget left for quality, name brand tools and accessories.

TPMS Isn't a real time tracker and shouldn't be used to re-fill the tires, according to the owner's manual. I use my Harley-Davidson gauge to get them back up to pressure, then use TPMS from there to track it.

Besides, there are a lot more tires in my life even with 1 vehicle. 8 wheels for the Mav., bike tires, help other's (especially ladies), etc.
