I'm 6'2", about 170 pounds. I'm comfy as can be in my Maverick Eco XLT. Maybe it's because I'm coming from (and still own) a 2002 Ranger.

I'm an old guy with a boney butt.
I’m 6’ 180 and just gave up 4 years old Lincoln Nautilus nothing wrong just mileage going up.
I stepped into my 24 Lariat at the dealership and adjusted the seat height and steering wheel. I have been as comfortable or better than in my Lincoln. The only thing I would recommend is power seat for the front passenger seat.

I’ve had my 2024 Hybrid XLT for some time now and I just cannot get comfortable in the thing. It seems that almost every time I drive the truck I am making seat &/or steering wheel adjustments trying to find the correct position for myself. I’ve never found it so hard to get comfortable in a car/truck before.

I’m 28 years old and have owned & driven all types of cars and trucks. The ergonomics of the Mavericks driver cockpit are all out of whack (in my opinion, of course). The gas pedal is further away than the brake pedal. Both pedals are too high. The seats lumbar support is too low. The bottom cushion of the seat is firm and angled up causing harsh pressure (over a short to medium amount of time. (e.g. 10min)). The steering wheel is angled away from the driver…I could go on and on.

I’m a 5’11” male weighing in at 170lbs. I feel like I’m a middle of the road human in terms of size & build. I should be able to get comfy in any vehicle, I’d think.

Personally I think the drivers cockpit is aweful in the maverick. Which is sad to say because besides that, I absolutely love the truck. It’s just a bummer because this is one of the most important parts of a vehicle and your experience with it.

How do you feel about your truck? Have you made any modifications to improve the comfort of your cockpit?
Going from a Honda CRV that gave me a sore rear end after about an hour of driving to the Maverick which doesn't, couldn't be more pleased.I

50 years old with lower back issues. I would love to have my 28 year old body back, I could get comfortable on a concrete seat at that age.

My Mav is pretty comfortable, not as nice as my F-150, but its not far off.

My wife and I both find our maverick very comfortable.the only thing I had to get used to is the arm rest being shorter than my other vehicles.

5'9" 178#. I purchased the Lariat w/ standard power seats, [available in the XLT w/ lux pkg or in fleet purchases as a stand-alone $160 option] precisely for the reason you state.

Test drive a Mav version w/ 8 way power seat and report back.

I also find that the shoes I wear make a difference as to foot moving from brake to gas pedal. I also adjust the angle of my seatback as I drive and micro-adjust fore-aft to change the pressure points. All reasons for the power adjust seat. The lumbar adj seems fine at the low setting for me.

Overall, my Mav is comfortable except for the known issue of the arm rest. And quirky interior door pull design.

My wife and I are 5 inches and 100lbs different but both are fine in Maverick.

6' 210lbs. Constantly moving steering wheel around, arm rest on door too low, arm rest in the middle too low. 2+ years into ownership.
I think that the more possible adjustments you have, the longer it will take to get used to a new driving position that you're comfortable with. Find your most comfortable position and stick with it. Edit: I wish all power seats had a memory function for this reason. It's often difficult to find the same exact setting on many of today's power seats with all the adjustment possibilities when some else changes your settings.

I have the lariat trim but I find the seats the most comfortable of any vehicle I have owned.

I’m 5’6 and don’t have much of a butt to speak of lol - I found the seats uncomfortable as well. I installed Coverado seat covers which provide some cushioning as well as more lumbar support which I really need.
all is well now and very comfy 😊

6’3”/230lb. XL Maverick, find it pretty comfortable except the bottom of the seat could be a little longer. (Thigh support)

Nothing deal-breaking though.

I have the Lariat trim and love the seats. I made adjustments leaving the dealership and haven't touched them since. I drove a 10 hour trip two days after picking mine up and was comfortable the whole way. Much more comfortable than my old Nissan Frontier seats.

I upgraded to the XLT in part for the power driver's seat - I wanted the electric adjustable seat. Like someone else said, I do wish they had a memory setting - it drives me crazy they don't offer that, it seems it ought to be a simple and cheap addition to make.

I'm 5'9", about 250 (give or take). It took me a week of tweaking to get my seat the way I like it, but now I very rarely touch it at all and it's great.

The lack of an independently adjustable angle for the seat bottom, even on the highest trims at 35-40k, is absolutely insane.

The seats themselves are fine. Wish there was a bit more side bolstering, but it's not a race car.

The only difference between the seats physical design is the covers, doubt it matters. Power option, also available in XLT LUX not just the Lariat, doesn't change the cushioning.
Having owned both a '23 XLT and '24 Lariat, I can assure you there is a difference.

I'm similar only have a lariat and find it just fine. On long trips I have to get out and run around every few hours but that's no different than my other vehicles. I wish the heated seat was more on the back and less on the butt, but that's just me.
