the Maverick is mundane?

300 HP would make it very UN-mundane, if it's considered mundane now. I think it's a pretty doggone nice little truck myself. And the 2.0 EB isn't boring.

One of the slides recommended putting a hellcat engine in a Pacifica. That wouldn't be mundane, psychotic maybe, but not mundane.

Mundane sells. Mundane gets the job done. Would it be interesting to put a Focus RS engine into a Maverick? yeah. Would I buy one? No.

Mav gets the job done with decent looks and decent performance. It still turns heads.

Utilitarian is probably a better description. I've been driving pickup trucks since the early '70s and the Maverick is the first truck that I have been excited about in a long time.
If I want to see mundane all I have to do is look at the white Silverado double cab in the driveway.

100% on utilitarian, that is what trucks are supposed to be. Not the man jewelry many turn them into.
