I think the regular grill looks fine.
Looks much better than the 80’s Buick grill on the LOBO.
Does Van Halen play automatically on start up if your Maverick is Eruption Green🤔

I've been wanting the larger screen so badly for so long, they could have put the front end of a 1974 Volkswagen Thing on it, and I would have bought it. But seriously, I don't see why so many hate the front end of the 2025 Maverick. I actually like it. I think they did pick the best grill of the prototypes I saw.

What do y'all think? Below are the 1974 Thing, 2024 Maverick, and 2025 Maverick.

I didn't like the light cluster on front but now I do.
Still, I'll take my '24 over the '25.
If I got the '25 I'd customize those flaps. Maybe some lamps or tape or fake grill or something. Glad someone likes it.

I think the 25 front end is okay but not ugly. I once owned a Chevy Lumina APV--that had an ugly front end.

It looks good head on like the current shot but anything other than that and IMO it doesn't look good. It looks better if the bumper is paint matched.

I didn’t like it at first but do now. I like that the grill is wider and lights are smaller making it look more aggressive. Could it have been implemented differently? Sure…

There are people that like AMC Pacer and Pontiac Aztek. General consensus is ugly then, ugly now.
Damn, I always liked those vehicles! But I hate the 25Mav front end.

Ha! Well done.

And while I am still firmly in the camp of - the front end looks like total ass….

The AWD Hybrid in Eruption Green with 4K tow is absolutely worth the garbage front end.

it is no longer the $20k truck but it’s a far better vehicle.

If you didn’t know the vehicle and just knew the following:

40 city/36hwy (hybrid)
AWD
4K Tow
1400 lb payload
Full driver safety suite
13.2” infotainment / 8” driver gauge cluster
Highest Trim level available (non performance variants)

$39,300

Would that be attractive? Hell yeah it is.

I’ll take the 2023-2024 over the 2025. Its looks a little to cluttered. IMO!

I think it's the "First Experience" effect. The 1st version of something we see/hear is often the one we like the most. Simple as that. I admit, right now I like the '22 front end better.

Kind of like everyone loves the version of "The First Cut Is the Deepest" they heard first the most. I heard Rod Stewart's version from the 70s first and love it the most, even though Sheryl Crow's is probably better. Those who heard P.P. Arnold's version first probably like hers the most.

If we could magically switch the order, and have the '25 version put on the '22-'24 Mavericks and have the '22 version just now coming out on the '25s, would everyone be griping about the new version? Would we all be like: What's with the giant headlights and the line connecting them? The old headlights were so sleek & cool. And why the elongated "holes" in the grill instead of the hexagons? Lame. :)

Really? I think the '25 is less cluttered. Less headlights. No line connecting the headlights. Everything else is about the same.

I get that the hexagons might make it look more busy, but that's the only thing imo. But I guess if that's the first thing that catches your eye, it's enough to make it look cluttered.
