Yep until it bricks. If I recall, there were some level 7's or so.
I don't care for this the back and forth that much. The last Ford I bought was a new '97 F150 flair side-was a good piece, no complaints, and had numerous Fords thru the 70's and 80's.
Best of luck with yours and have a great...
Correct you are, but I've never seen numbers that sadly Ford has put out.
'26 Heritage Enthusiast edition. Will do another truck or car before the snow flies.
We just traded our '24 XLT.-2 years 10k miles-a 3k hit. Pricing is way up, so good time to move.
But VERY concerned with the recalls. did not take it out of state anymore, even tho this was a good piece, but---
Going out of town, I always put my Battery powered Dewalt in the truck. Save a lot of sweat in case of a flat. As I check them every so often, they have stayed tight when torqued at the 148.
My '24 EB-I do yearly-drive about 4-6k a year, dealer says that is okay. It will be 2 years old May '26.
I did the first change at 1k to get the crap out. So far so good. Currently has 8,900 miles.
I had some in the detached garage. I could tell by the occasional droppings. I spoke with a exterminator at an apartment complex one day a few years ago. He said they don't like lights.
So I hooked up a couple of lights and put them on a timer. Haven't seen droppings since. With 2 motorcycles...
A short old school observation.
I put on the Ford roof spoiler last spring. Last winter after about a 4 inch snowstorm the top of
the tailgate had about 4 inches of snow on it, which I left on to see if the roof spoiler had any effect on getting the air over the tailgate. Left for work, about 5...
I have had these Firestone tires on about 6 weeks or so. Stock size, 225's.
They are quieter than the stock Conti's, ride is better and strangely the gas mileage improved to 23+/-, normally 21.5 city numbers. In a heavy rain on the highway, they feel much more planted, must be channeling more...
Went to the dealer this past Monday-Remote start not working.
No codes shown, but Tech notice that there were 2 updates. So, they did those and remote works fine now.
So, I don't know where the fault was, but all's well, right now.
You seem to have much knowledge of tire construction. If you care to check out the following
link it may provide more insite as to the tire construction.
Thanks for the input.
Firestone Destination A/T2 | Tire Rack
Had a short 40-mile run, off highway yesterday.
Normally 21 and change is the mpg with the stock Conti's.
The readout showed 23 and change mpg. And it's still in that number around town.
I find that interesting-so checked the weight-Conti-24 lbs.-Firestone 25 lbs. Hmm light for a A/T tire.
But...
Haven't check gas mileage, only put on Sat., but with the less rolling resistance it may increase.
Big surprise to me how free the truck rolls now. No other checks or adjustments, just the tire swap.
Last weekend I had
Firestone Destination A/T2
Off-Road All-Terrain
tires installed. stock size 225-65-17
After much reading, including the tires mentioned here, I went with them.
And they were bought at a Firestone store-not much difference in pricing, but they have some good rebates going on...
