Does anyone think one day we will see someone glue a bunch of horse hair to the front panel and give the 25 Maverick a nice thick handlebar mustache?

I like it just fine because I'm looking at the function of it. The bumper cover went from 1 piece to 3 and the headlights were moved out of harm's way. The middle piece with the flippers can now be disposable in a fender bender instead of the expensive headlights. Maybe Geico complained?FIFYfUgly
I had a Thing for a short time (bought it to fix it then sell it) and it was good for what it was made for, but rust prevention wasn't a priority. Regarding the new grill, I am not a fan as to me it looks like they just did something to do something. If it had been molded to where it connects to the front of the fenders, I would have liked it but to me it just looks like the glued a piece to the front bumper. Now I do like the lower bumper treatment and would add that to my 23.I've been wanting the larger screen so badly for so long, they could have put the front end of a 1974 Volkswagen Thing on it, and I would have bought it. But seriously, I don't see why so many hate the front end of the 2025 Maverick. I actually like it. I think they did pick the best grill of the prototypes I saw.
What do y'all think? Below are the 1974 Thing, 2024 Maverick, and 2025 Maverick.

If they would have left the look of the 22-24 with the new 25 grill, it would have been ok. Looks like squinting eyes to me!!I've been wanting the larger screen so badly for so long, they could have put the front end of a 1974 Volkswagen Thing on it, and I would have bought it. Truer words were never spoken. But you don't have to look for a knob. You just turn it with one hand while eating french frys with the other and drive with your knee.
I'm a huge fan of function over form. Your comment certainly resonates with me...even though I like the new front end.4 pages of Female emotions based on the looks of the front end.I like it just fine because I'm looking at the function of it. The bumper cover went from 1 piece to 3 and the headlights were moved out of harm's way. No correlation was intended. I was just saying they could have made the front end as ugly as the Thing's was, and I would have still bought it, because I REALLY wanted the larger screen and (to a lessor degree) a non-school bus yellow truck.I think you're pulling at straws, especially the Thing reference. No correlation whatsoever.
To me it looks like an Autobot smiling. If they would have left the look of the 22-24 with the new 25 grill, it would have been ok. Looks like squinting eyes to me!!
The reason why I don't like the new front end is because (my opinion please) it makes the truck not look like a truck. It also makes it look smaller, giving it a custom "golf cart" type look. That's the only thing I don't like. Would I have bought it if it came out like this in 2022? Probably, but the front end of the 2022-2024 Maverick says, "Hello, here I am" better.I've been wanting the larger screen so badly for so long, they could have put the front end of a 1974 Volkswagen Thing on it, and I would have bought it. But seriously, I don't see why so many hate the front end of the 2025 Maverick. I actually like it. I think they did pick the best grill of the prototypes I saw.

I will not agree with that assessment. I believe the knob controls are much easier to work with than a touchscreen. Too many steps using the touchscreen, and it certainly takes your mind off of watching the road.Saturn did a study in the '80s and found a large percentage of accidents occurred when people messed with their radio, because radios used to be near the bottom of the dashboard. I believe they were the 1st to move the radio way up the dashboard, so people's eyes were still partially on the road when messing with the radio.
The fact that the screen is bigger and at the top of the dashboard is actually a safety enhancer. Looking at the AC buttons & knobs much lower on the dashboard than the screen takes your eyes further (if not completely) off the road. When looking at the bottom of the screen, your peripheral vision is still easily on the road. The further you go down the dashboard, the less your peripheral vision can see the road.
So, the Lobo is kind of unique. It is a trim series, but it has 2 levels. Somewhat like XLT and XLT lux, but more different. The Lariat-based features are body code 702A, and the Lobo with XLT-based features is/will be Lobo 402A. You can only build and price the Lobo 702A right now on Ford's site.I'm not sure I understand how you phrased #9. Are they going to have the XLT grille available on the Lobo or the Lobo grille available on the XLT? Or did I misread it completely?
