Tailgate Assist Question

Just received and installed Lane's Tailgate Tie-Down. Quality is outstanding, holes lined-up perfectly, crazy strong, great satin black paint. I tried to TIP Lane $5 for being an MTC fabricator for the rest of us "lesser skilled" owners. As you can see in the attached photo, he would not accept the tip and sent it back to me! Lane is one example of what makes MTC so great. I highly recommend Lane and his stuff . . much better than sketchy Amazon stuff!

It's ok. They'll never understand that TA is indeed a useless modification.

I stand by the start of my post - to each his own.

I'm not denigrating those who want tailgate assist, I just personally don't see the point. I don't need to convince anybody. My choice is right for my truck, they can do to theirs whatever they want to.

It's hysterical that some people think what they like everyone else should like and what they want everyone else should want, and then they "can't understand" why that's not the case! I guess they're "smart" and everyone else is stupid.

I actually agree with "jpalmer1" post.
I wanted to reply but it was early and I couldn't think of anything.

I find it hysterical that if the "jpalmer1" post had the word "hysterical" replaced with either one of two other words the post would be oppositely reversed to the others view. But it is well after breakfast and my two Brazil Nuts have been absorbed.
