$32k for an XL seems a little steep unless you meant XLT. MSRP for XLT tremor seems to be close to $32k new. Here's an idea out of left field lease a new Nissan Frontier while you wait for the Maverick to open up order banks? My brother just got their pro 4x trim with all options for like $360 a month with only $2200 down. It's an 18 month lease so should be enough time for the 23 banks to open and for you to order eb the way you want it and pay MSRP. The money you would be spending over MSRP for this Maverick you could get some value out of and you can hold onto your taco. Seems to be confirmed that the next Tacoma coming in a couple years will be a 4 banger turbo instead of a V6. People are already buying the V6 models because they don't want a 4 in a truck so your V6 could be worth more if you keep the miles off with a frontier lease. I think Nissan did a great job with the redesign and I have been tempted after my brother got his to get one myself. He's getting 18 city and 23+ on the freeway. The only variable would be if Ford opened order banks in a few months to take more EB orders for customers because they have a lot of capacity or they could just take dealer stock orders and cut the model year production short.
