Shaking While accelerating only.

Hello everyone, just wanted to give you a update.

I started having this shaking when turning my wheel to the left and making a left hand turn at 45^ angle wheel. It started slow and not that much, but drastically over time it got worse and worse. Always between 20-30mph and when engine would kick on it would start shaking violently when driving straight and worse when slightly turning left,

I ended up purchasing both CV axles but the issue was the drivers side CV axle, car was salvage so dealer didn’t cover it but they should if it’s clean free of charge.

Anyways point is…

shook when driving 20-30mph and engine kicks on,

turning left exacerbated the issue, got worse over time.

CV axle fixed it, drivers side.

Having the same issue with my 22 XL AWD. I bought it used with 15k miles, and it's at the ford dealership now being inspected for the issue. I'm curious if anyone knows whether or not aftermarket tires, rims, and possible lift will affect the warranty.

Covered under warranty, but parts are on back order. They are saying about a month out.

Haha, yeah all it is is a CV axle but they will replace both.

How was the axle replacement in the hybrid? There is no current documentation on it anywhere.

I Too have an appointment for the acceleration shudder. 24 hybrid with 25,000 miles. Does it at 50-60 mph up hill especially bad.

Simple. Did it with my dad.
But there will be a lot of transmission fluid leak so you’ll have to refill, preferably do it with 2 people.

That's good to hear. I may just replace on my own before waiting for shaking to happen. Parts aren't terribly expensive.

I would wait. It’s not guaranteed it will happen, and I assume they just made parts that are defective. Can or maybe cannot happen to you. Fyi

My '22 XLT Hybrid just started having this very noticable shaking at highway speed acceleration this weekend. This is ridiculous. Feels like an unbalanced washing machine. I'm less than excited to deal with the service department.

My 22 hybrid started doing this earlier this week. Scheduled my service appointment, and hope they can fix it quickly. 65k miles.

So the dealership replaced my passenger side half-shaft last week, and for a couple of days it was better. Now, I have an increasing growing louder grinding noise, typically if there is any steering to the left, and less when steering to the right. The dealership still has no loaners/rentals, and said to keep driving on it until they can get me back in.

Covered under which warranty? I have 63k miles on my truck… it literally just started happening. Thought it was my tires as they needed to be replaced, and then an alignment fixed it for a moment, but now it’s back.

I just had my vibration diagnosed as the same. Covered under the manufacturers powertrain warranty.
The frustrating thing is, I took it to a different dealer last year and they told me it was the tires and alignment. I had the tired rebalanced, rotated, and the alignment done, but even after the tires got some new wear on them, the vibration didn't go away. After more BS with that dealer's service department and brand new tires, I took it to a different dealer that diagnosed it right away.
I have just under 31,000 miles on it. 2022 XLT.

Piggybacking on this thread after a ‘half shaft’ word search within this site: I was experiencing the same shudder on acceleration, but a slight vibration was always present at low speed.

The dealer now has it, confirmed my diagnosis and is waiting for the part. I’m hoping the fix is permanent.

36k miles, all trouble free until this. Stay tuned.
