even if there was nothing to protect (the splash marks on my door from before I put the flaps on tell me there is), note the gaping hole in the rear driver wheel well I mentioned. you can see some splatter up there and I don't think I had even driven the truck 100 miles yet.

Love my Rokblokz. Black with red lettering. Have had zero problems with them.

I too got mud flaps. And also found the rear bolts loose. When I installed the flaps, did tighten the bolts more, they did tighten up, not stripped.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to report my impressions of this mud flap manufacturer. I installed them almost 3 years ago. The screws have not loosen. The flaps themselves are still in great condition. None of them have cracked or torn. I highly recommend them!!

I just ordered a set of these for my new truck. This is exactly what I was looking for. I did not want anything "wrapping around" and touching the painted surfaces. This forum has been an awesome help as I've been purchasing accessories. Note, they don't sell the Maverick ones on Amazon, you have to get them direct.

I'm looking into Mudflaps for my new Maverick and it sounds like these fit the bill (coverage for that gaping hole and no rubbing away paint). $150 is steep (and I'm cheap) so does anyone know of a mudflap that meets both of these requirements for less? The Mabett ones are way cheaper but not sure if the coverage is as good or if they rub on the paint? I"m often to suggestions:)

Just learned this AM about the Maxzina offering at $33 that is supposed to cover the "Gap". Check this post:

Rokblokx mud flaps ain't rocket science. If you're not willing to pay for a made in USA product that is pre-cut and pre-punched to fit, grab some cardboard and make some templates, and create your own from some universal flaps.

Yes I just came across a post about the Maxzina flaps as well. I'm curious if they actual do cover the gap and also if they rub against the paint at all. Would fit the bill as being way cheaper that's for sure. Also I see mention of adding a drivers side storage cubby in the bed will also fix the gap? Post #24 mentions it here:

I recommend getting the Maxzina mud flaps. They cover the gap and a lot cheaper! I have them on my 25 Maverick.

I had the Rokblokz mud flaps on my 22 Maverick. IMHO, the Rokblokz are very overpriced!
