I've been looking at getting a new exhaust, and to be frank this is my first vehicle that I'm doing any sort of modifications too. I've been looking around and have came up with a few options that seem good, but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I have been looking at Borla and MRT exhausts, for the MRT they have one called King of The Hill that sounded pretty good, definitely better than stock but wanted to see if anyone else has used that one or had another one they use and like.
Not looking for a crazy loud "look at me" exhaust, just a better sound and minimal drone.

dont waste your money, unless you like the racket,I pulled into a gas station yesterday and there was a brand new Ferrari idling( sounded like a dump truck-when old second childhood took off it sounded just like a gravel truck) each to his own I suppose.

Borla and Magnaflow were always my go-to back in the day on numerous v8 mustangs. To be honest, I not so sure much will help a 4 cylinder, but to each their own.

I would NOT recommend the S-Type catback pictured. I have one & had to add a resonator to quiet down the painful drone.

I’m waiting for Magnaflow to make a catback for the new EB design. That would have been my first choice had it been available. Still isn’t available:(

Mine is too new and need Cathy's permission, but having been a Road Racing fan for over 50 years I'm accustomed to the sound of 2 liter twin cam HP engines. I do enjoy that!

If you're not after "look at me", I wouldn't suggest a straight-pipe, unmuffled exhaust such as the King of the Hill. MRT's other muffled options should be considered though.

I have an AFE side exit listed in the Marketplace that came off of my Tremor. Shoot me a PM.

If I were going for a mild rear exit exhaust, I'd go Gibson or Magnaflow. The Gibson is more truckish like Buschur's was, and the Magnaflow is more sporty with nice dual tips.

If you want a side exit, you either have the MRT or aFe. I've had both. With a tune, the MRT trail rated (muffled version) is a touch more raw and aggressive than the more mellow aFe with dual tips. If you're interested in the MRT trail rated, I have a used one for sale in the marketplace for a great price!

when I do it again, I will find a custom muffler shop and have one made exactly how I want it.

I went with Thermal. Im not impressed with how tame it is or the loss of ground clearance, or "Slip joints" that hold it together.

I would just replace the Muffler with the Magnaflow like the guy did on here and save a bunch of money!! That is if the rest of the exhaust is ok if not then I guess a Cat Back would be the way to go!!
