get a low restriction turbo muffler,with a custom (one size larger exhaust pipe custom bent and finish it with a mild 'bologna slice,in some instances it seems larger pipes are actually less noisy then smaller pipes. the thing to remember is as the late great John Ligenfelter said if your exhaust is not hissing you are losing very little power with it,all these "wallet lightener" systems do is make a little less restriction with a bit less pumping loss,pure exhaust extraction starts at the port back,now on a turbo system if you increase exhaust flow you may gain a bit more boost and if the ECU is willing you may see a little more on the top end.(IMHO)(YMMV)

I've had the original Thermal R&D 3" stainless catback for 20k miles now. Been very happy with it. Exit is @ factory location (dump @ rear bumper skin). The new design has a resonator added. Not sure how it sounds or why it was needed. I've never experienced any drone.

as long as it doesn't have that drone resonance,that racket will finally set your teeth on edge,give out the part no. for your system,you will help many!

I would NOT recommend the S-Type catback pictured. I have one & had to add a resonator to quiet down the painful drone.

I’m waiting for Magnaflow to make a catback for the new EB design. That would have been my first choice had it been available. Still isn’t available

Magnaflow is awesome - I just replaced the OEM muffler and that made a difference- That OEM muffler is a flow blocker for sure.

I put a "superflow on a dodge Dakota,that didn't do nothing but rot off and hit the road in a couple of years,put the stock n=muffler back on and it seemed to run better!Beware the wallet lighteners,the thing to remember is the manufacturer has already harvested the low hanging fruit,if you can prove on an independent dyno test its better,then its better,OTH hand if you get3% gain at 6500 rpm,you have accomplished nothing( well,for probably noise,does anyone in the neighbor hood like loud exhausts and "fart cans" or loud harleys for that matter,each to his own the little towns around here will not even let you use an engine brake in the town limits,the guys have gutted there mufflers and its loud enough to blow you out of a deep slumber--always keep that mind when modifying exhaust systems.

I actually like that system! seems they did the leg work.If one had to replace a stock system this would be a good choice,remember this-the right frequency and sound will actually increase vehicle satisfaction,for example the old British sporty cars,you know they weren't all that great,but start er up and"Walter Mitty" comes to life.
