I use a step up Bully so tailgaters are forewarned not to get too close. ( I also have the FORD Oval in a square cap bought at the dealer on Ford Pass points.

As if the 9 inches or so is going to make anyone back off. If they are that close, a step up isn't going to do squat. They wouldn't even see that.

Yea the local dealer wants $117 to install and the part is $295 plus tax. I am thinking I can do it myself but for the life of me I can't find the holes they say it bolts to
On one of Tim Bartz recent YouTube’s he talked of his dealership not able to add a hitch wiring harness to make it work at all. So if I was you I’d call Long McArthur and ask for Nikes Gridley in accessories and ask if it’s possible to mount an add on hitch to a Ford Maverick plus also add a wiring harness too! I thought Tim mentioned the hitch not being the problem but the wiring harness for the hitch is a problem. Verify all this for yourself by calling Niles. Best

So far so good when cars want to tailgate. Trucks not so. So the eBike rack takes care of that.
